I thought it might make it easier for those looking for specific innokin info, as in they would probably go to the innokin sub forum. I just wasn't sure why such a large innokin thread wouldn't be in the Innokin specific forum? If it gets more traffic from newcomers in this forum than that's great, sometimes newcomer/adopter insight is nice!

This thread has been around long before there even was an Innokin subforum. I think it should stay right where it is, in the variable voltage section. Anyone coming to this subforum should have a place to find information on Innokin products along with other brands.

With bigger batteries. :D And spring-loaded 510 pins. :D

Andria

And an Achilles on top!!!!!!!!! :D

@Innokin_Ash, I'm really liking my new CFIV, what ever happened to the possibility of a CFIV with a replaceable battery? That coin sized cover on the bottom lookS like the perfect size to fit an 18650.

It DOES almost seem to call for it. Perhaps in time? I'd be very much on top of that one!

Also, why is the Innokin Owners Group Thread not in the Innokin Technology Forum? I'm going to send a message to Innokin_Ash to see about getting it moved.

I'm not so sure this particular thread should be moved, mastiff, but if you wanted to open a thread in that section of the Forum and LINK to this thread....... that might work, eh?

And an Achilles on top!!!!!!!!! :D

Well natch. :D But do you know, Frog in Fog is out of stock on them, and says there won't be anymore; Yeahsmo is going to start producing clones of the Achilles II. Which is lower profile and shinier, but has a bigger airhole, so I dunno if I'll like it or not. At this point, don't even know when they'll be available. No way I could spend 115 euros for an authentic, that's like $126.

That is terrible news :(

I only have one and have been going to order a couple of more. Please post up if you hear of any others available.

Here is a review:

I can't see Yeahsmo any where on the one I listed. I don't see any manufacturer listed so it is hard to say if they are they same atty? Could it be the same one I got from FITF. I'm really mad at myself for not buying more when I had the chance :(

It appears there were a number of clones. Like any of these items some may be better than others.

Goodbye iTaste VV, you really helped get me off smokes and I will miss your slender form:(

As a low wattage Tootle Puffer (with NO interest in TC)...my Vaping Journey...VV V3 => Vamo 5 => MVP2 => 30W-iStick => eVic VTC Mini. (Still have 1-3 of each in my "rotation"...at home.)

But for when I'm headed out the door...for me...nothing beats the VV V3.

And at $14.95...I can get 2 of them for what I paid for most of my other Mods...

As a guy that wears cargo pants and shorts I have enough pocket room for an MVP 3.0 Pro and iSub G, so any size works. That being said, the CFIV I just got has 233 puffs and still has 3.8 volts left. Thats impressive considering that it's only 2000mah. It will last a day and a half while my MVP 3.0 Pro with 4500mah will last 2 full days.

These new LiPo batteries are great so far, I'll have to wait and see how the overall battery life works out though. The CFIV is almost perfect as far as ergonomics go. With my bear claws it just disappears in my hands. I loved the slimness of the VV but the CFIV works just as nice, it's not as slim but the shortness of the CFIV kind of makes up for it. The CFIV is also less apt to tip over, which was a concern I was always conscious of and worried about.

I like the CFIV much better than the Eleaf 30w that I gave to my Mom (which she is still using). I'm glad I went with the CFIV, I only paid $30(great discount at mtbakervapor.com, APE11 for 15% off!) for it and I think it replaces my VV very well. I'll miss my VV but I'm really loving the CFIV as a replacement!

gerrymi,

I’d suggest (just because) you get/try the CLR coils for your VTC/Mega tank

get the Ti .5Ω CLR and give ‘em a whirl
if ya don’t like them, just build as normal kanthal
- http://vapenw.com/by-brand/joyetech/ego-one-cl-clr-heads-by-joyetech
(40w-300° to start)

if too much air, try this trick

Well pufZ...if I ranked my reasons for DIR (Disinterest In Rebuilding)..."stupidity" and "laziness" would vie for the top. (They'd also be at the top of my DID list [Disinterest In DIYing]).

When I was a smoker...I never considered growing my own tobacco. (And...I was too lazy to even "roll my own".)

But...thanx for the suggestion. Life seems to be "constant change"...so one never knows...

[He|l...a LONG time ago...I even tried marriage...] [twice  ]

I dunno about laziness, but I ain't buying the "stupidity" claim :D I've seen stupidity at ECF, but it never said "gerrymi" next to it. ;)

OK buddy, gotcha – I was thinking (assumed) you were building coils

my goal was to get you to enjoy the TC like I’ve discovered
a couple clks, bumbs, and you have TC operation

results/bennifits IMO
coils stay cleaner, last longer (no burn, less gunk) simple to adj temp (hot-cool)

if you DO buy/try Ti (titanium) coils, the rebuildable Ti (CLR) are appx same $$
as the non buildables (CL)

the CL are vertical – the CLR are horizontal and bigger juice entry holes
at the least, you could buy CLR Ti and pull cotton thru as needed
(not as hard as RYO)
you got everything but the Ti coil

the massive airflow was my hurdle (still evaluating)

jus sayin’

Vape≈Tech (ain't it great)

Finally got around to trying the Subox Mini kit with the 1.5 coil. Nice size, feels good in the hand, easy magnetic battery door. Started at 10 watts and worked my way up to 20. 90VG/10DW at 20 puts out a lot of vapor, too hot for me, and I can't breathe. 18w on the middle hole seems right for me but I still feel it in the lungs. Hope it lasts like an Innokin product.

If someone wonders why I post here about a non Innokin device, its because I want a device with an IMR battery. I have an SVD 2 and like it but it is too long and heavy. It also came with a tank that other people seem to like and has an "included" rba deck. I'll try an Apex when they have an rda option and the price is less than $30 for both. $30 for any tank seems ridiculous to me.
