I think I'm gonna give the CFIV+'s a miss; I agree about being forced to buy a tank I don't want, and they also took the off/on switch off the bottom, a really stupid move IMO. My original CF4's provide me with 14-16 hrs vape quite easily, so I don't think I really need 3300 mAh. About the only thing about the new Plus I do like is the bigger screen -- but that's not really worth the extra money.

Here is my experience so far with my CFIV+, I posted this on the CFIV+ thread I started here-Innokin Coolfire IV Plus 70W iSub Apex Kit!!!!!
I hope this helps!

Well I've used the new CFIV+ for a few days and here are my thoughts and observations.

It's bigger and it fits my hand better. From front to back it's slightly longer and the concave area behind the buttons is slightly thicker. It's still small but the CFIV doesn't fit my hand as well as the new + model.

Sorry about the 2nd pic, it just won't resize?

I got the blue version which is a little lighter than the blue on the MVPs. It is slightly darker than my pic, I just couldn't get it to show up well.

The screen is also bigger on the CFIV+. I was fine with the original but some people's eyes aren't as good as mine and this was wanted by quite a few. The original CFIV is the first pic to be clear.

The CFIV+ actually feels more sturdy than the CFIV. The finish actually feels less slick even though it shouldn't as it's smooth on the + instead of the brushed finish on the CFIV.

The CFIV+ seems to vape smoother than my MVP Pros, the flavor is more even it seems. I don't know why? I've switched back and forth from one vape to the next using the same tank and the difference is just enough to be noticeable. Weird huh?

It charges very fast even though I'm not using a 2amp charger. The light behind the fire button is also brighter than the light on the original CFIV. It almost lasted two days of vaping at my regular 4ml a day.

My only con is the fire button. It is in a place that just doesn't feel natural sometimes, as specially when compared to the CFIV and MVP Pros that I have. It's not a deal breaker but it will take some adjustment.

As far as the Apex tank, well here's my thoughts.
It vapes even lower than my iSub G, 12w instead of 13w with a .5ohm coil. The airflow is very nice and the flavor from my ADV (caramel apple) tastes slightly better. It feels sturdy and it would be damn near impossible to break the Apex.

A few things I don't like. The top fill feature makes it almost to impossible to fill it to the brim like my iSub G. It's nice not having to take it off of the mod to fill it but it's hard to see where to stop. It's capacity is too low but that has been remedied by the new 5ml, the CFIV+ should have come with the new 5ml Apex.

The drip tips keep getting wider but I'm still using the tips off of my Aspire tanks. The tips are just too big in circumference while having the same airflow and inner diameter as my thinner Aspire tips.

Overall I'm very pleased and I'd recommend the CFIV+ and Apex tank combo to others. I can disregard the one or two small dislikes as both are beyond solid and work great together. If you guys have any questions I'll try to answer them as soon as I can:)

Hey mastiff...quite informative review of the CFIV+...Thanx!

Someone (somewhere on ECF)...said their CFIV was 6gm. heavier than their MVP-20.

Any thoughts on the weight of your CFIV+ vs. the CFIV and/or MVP?

Unfortunately I gave my CFIV away to my buddy on Monday, I didn't think to weigh it.

My kitchen scale said the CFIV+ comes in at 5.66 oz, while the MVP 3.0 Pro 60w comes in at 7.5 oz. Now this is on an old scale so it isn't perfect but it's pretty close. I hope this helps!

I would buy that blue and black one, looks really cool, 70 watts is more than I need and have plenty of TC mods that I never use TC on anyway, if priced under $50, I will have one :)

And I did buy it, came today :w00t: wasn't under $50, but paid $61 and came with the new apex tank too, so still think a good deal for a new device.

myvaporstore.com has them in stock at $64.50, that's where I got mine. They're one of my favorites because they usually have new stuff up before a lot of other places;) I also got the blue CFIV+, I liked that color the most out of the current options.

    Paid $61.19 for mine :pervy:

Blue is my color, so was easy pick for me :)

Have the 4, passed on the plus, got a disrupter instead. Very pleased.View attachment 513828

I think that's the route I'll probably go. I love my CF4s, and I like the concept of swappable LiPos in the Disrupter, even if they are proprietary; Innokin's tech and quality is sufficient to make it tolerable, and prices on those swappable LiPos are quite reasonable. Just don't find enough in the CF4+ to make it worth the extra money, especially since they removed one of its best features, that on/off switch on the bottom. I actually do use that switch, to save wear and tear on the fire btn.

They also removed another feature. "NO PURPLE"!

Yeah, I wasn't thrilled with the entire look of the pluses. About the only thing that would be really useful is the bigger screen. Since I can get 14-16 hrs battery life out the originals, even the 3300 mAh is like... why? I would guess that the Plus is their answer to all these folks whining about the 2000mAh, but honestly, with a LiPo, that's plenty!

I get 2 days out of both my MVP Pro 60w'ers. My CFIV would last one day. So far my CFIV+ is lasting 1.5 to 2 days. That could change as it's new and if it does I'll post an update. So far though I'm just tickled that a 3300 mah mod is lasting almost, or as long as a 4500 mah mod. Is Innokin using a different battery for the MVP and CFIV+? I know the CFIV+ is LiPo, what is the MVP using?

I like my stuff to be somewhat idiot proof, if I forget to charge my mod I'll still have a day left or close to it. I'd hate to have to carry more than one mod. They keep advancing the tech so fast that hopefully by the end of 2016 I won't have to charge anything for a week;)

If I leave the house for more than an hour, I take a spare mod with me, just because FECES OCCURS. And it seems to occur to vape gear even more regularly than to everything else in the world! But I never forget to charge; it's part of my morning ritual -- get up, turn up water on stove for tea, take pills, plug in mod, take Achilles off the one plugged in and put it on one of the others, check ejuice level, add more if needed... pour water on tea bag, go get dressed... by then, the tea is brewed, add sugar, and I have my first vape and my first slug of caffeine, and I return to human status. :) Then, I can start the bacon and see what all you clowns on ECF have been doing while I've been sleeping. :D

    Well, that's your problem, Andria!

I get up, vape, grind the coffee beans while vaping.... (not that there's anything at all wrong about tea! But I'd be vaping while drawing the water for that! Gotta get your priorities straight!

Asthma, remember? I have to wait until my lungs come online. :D

ETA: I'm just happy that I can vape about 15 mins after I get up, instead of waiting the half hour or more I had to wait to go smoke! :D
