Fourth day of exclusive use. Only charged to full on the first day. I'm definitely loving this. View attachment 414162View attachment 414163
If you are trying to protect your threads, you shouldn't have to as the MVP3 has stainless steel threads. If you are dead set on not using the threads directly, you can also get yourself an airflow controller that would do the trick.
Tank Airflow Controller

If you really want to use the ego adaptor, you can dig up the beauty ring from a Protank. It will fit perfectly.

Can I ask why you are using the ego adaptor on a 510 atty?
The first MVP I had ended up with stripped threads. I did not want to have a repeat.
Just to be extra careful, I decided to use the adapter. With the adapter, it also provides some extra protection from The liquid in case there is leakage. The adapter does extend the drip tip further from the device. Having it closer, albeit a mere centimeter makes me feel anxious. There's just something about the proximity of my hand to face with a mod that gives me feelings of anxiety. Also, while I have the beauty ring, I do not care too much for its appearance. I also understand how this is somewhat counterproductive as it does provide some support. Maybe I'll look into the airflow control you suggested.

Received my SVD 2.0 at lunchtime and used it all afternoon and evening. Very smooth vape like the MVP. Big and heavy with 18650 and pyrex AGA-T2 gennie but has a good feel.

Spring loaded 510 was a surprise in that it has very little resistance.

efest 3100 button tops are too long to get cap to screw on all the way. AW 2000 is fine.

Fire button is very light press.

Can't imagine that the SVD is better as Gary stated. That must be really good.

Trying it with 18350 this morning.

Bumping this thread. All these new devices fill up the subform quickly.

Hey, each to his own. I really liked the MVP2 but I always wished that they would have just had the 510 connection instead of the dual connector. Didn't like the extra height. I was really happy with the MVP20 when they made the ego adaptor optional. My MVP3 is in transit. Looking forward to giving it a try.

Love the SVD2 display. Still like the SVD better for flavor.

Here's a clone for $35 if someone wants to try.

S-ET (SVD) KIT - eGo / Variable

They also have a real innokin SVD for $39.

I've gotten so used to a flat clean signal that I don't think I could go back to a 33.3Htz chipset....

perhaps your predicament might be solved with one of these
- 19mm Thread Cover - Kangertech - eGo Batteries
I’ve got one and it is HEAVY DUTY and works great (gonna add weight)
(picture #3 shows what I mean)

I don’t have an MVP ‘flush top’ – but simulating the same with
the ego threads sticking out of my v2.0, it’s looking good

add one to your cart, thinking it will take the 'ugly' out and also add needed support

:)

I personally couldn't care less what chip is where. All I care about is flavor. For me the SVD beats them all. SVD2 and Provari run a close second. Of course, YMMV.

Well, the clone is by segelei. I got both. Both rock. But the segelei comes with 2 batts, a tank (that sux) and a corded (single battery) charger.
