I got my black MVP Pro 3.0 60W in the mail yesterday. Haven't been using it exclusively but fairly regular last night and today, and still the battery reads over 3.90V, super battery life in this thing. It was fully charged when I got it, and I am going to see how long I can go before it requires recharging. I use a 0.5 ohm head around 18-25 Watts so not a lot of drain on the battery, but still holding better than I would have thought.

I only have the CF-IV to compare it to so here goes. I like the larger OLED screen since it makes it easier to read. In the sun it washed out more than than the CF-IV does but still readable. Buttons all work the same as the CF-IV so there is no learning curve. The buttons don't rattle on either mod, and are nice and clicky. Form factor isn't as good as the Coolfire IV, little harder to carry around and doesn't fit in the hand or pocket as well, but that's what I expected, after all, it's a box. One negative, with my Subtank mini there is a slight delay between button press and actually firing.

Overall it seems to have power for days which is what I was after since I will be in Cancun for a week I needed something I didn't want to worry about running out of charge midway through the party. 4500 mAh was the selling point that got my attention, innokin's quality with the CF-IV sealed the deal. As someone stated above, I feel like I can use it as a weapon if needed, this thing is a brick. I showed it to my brother and he was so impressed I purchased one for him, he wanted a blue one.
Yeah I know what you mean. I'm no fighter, I'm the least violent person you'll meet, but I always think that I could easily bust somebodys' skull with the corner of my mvp 3 if it was necessary lol. I'm not even joking either, if I was attacked that would be my weapon.

I Have a few questions?

I was lucky enough last night to find and able to get all for $30. a black Coolfire 2, Kanger Areotank tubo, 3 batteries 18350 (2 Efest and 1 Samsung) and a Sigelei single charger. Planning on giving this to my son! I cleaned up the tank and Coolfire 2 which wasn't really that bad just cleaned the contact and top pin. All seems to be working but I haven't filled the Areotank yet, but I'm sure it is ok and want to find out what flavor of e-juice my son wants in it.

My question # 1 is I'm sure I need since I don't know how old or often the batteries were use I should buy an extra set for him. I know they will be 18350 and I did download the Coolfire 2 manual from Innokin site.
Yet it says "
Battery: High drain 18350 (without protection,
maximum current output is more than 5000mA.)"
Which brand and ones those whom own the Coolfire 2 suggest?

Question # 2 is this charger (seems to be working right) a good one or should I look into getting him another one.

Everybody loves a bargain but I worry about cheap things starting fires or blowing up next to my face. If you are not sure about any of items, get better ones.

Agree I'm not worried about the Coolfire 2 or the Kanger Areotank both look to be almost new, I more worried about the batteries and the charger though both the charger and batteries look like they are new too. This is the charger: SIGELEI 18650/18350 CHARGER_CHARGER_Accessories_SIGELEI Electronic Cigarette -

Smoktek is running a father's day 15% off storewide sale... SmokTek Electronic Cigarettes, Vaping and E-cig Supplies, E-liquids. -- coupon code LOVEDAD -- because if you have ANY questions about the batteries and charger, and it's for your child... BUY SOME NEW ONES!!! They're not that costly, and with a 15% off sale, you should be able to get some good quality stuff for a decent price.

Efest should be fine for that mod, and the Samsung probably better. Efest is said to over rate the continuous discharge, but since the CF2 only needs 5 amps it's not a high draw device anyway.

Sigelie charger... hard to say. Give it a whirl under close observation?

I have a few different rated efests in rotation - all 18650 - and have been happy with their performance.

Thank you for the coupon I will check it out. I do plan on buy him new batteries and hoping that those who own the Coolfire 2 would help me get the right ones for it which will work great with the Coolfire 2.

Oh my child is in his early 30's...

Thank you! The sigelei charger I found more information:
Smart: build-in for both 18350 and 18650 size batteries

Safe: build-in IC provides various protection, thermal protection, overcharge protection: short-circuitProtection: mechanical and electrical protection against reversal polarity.

What confuses me is the mah like 700 and up listed on the batteries? I know the CF2 takes a non protective battery.

Sitting down, facing forward.
A "protected" battery includes a fusing system to prevent over current and potential fires. An "unprotected" battery relies on its chemistry to prevent overheating and fires. IMR, the most often used battery chemistry for "unprotected" batteries is quite safe and unless a nail is driven through the battery, for example, will usually not go up in smoke unless totally abused.

I had some Efest 18350s for a CoolFire2 and was very unimpressed by them. Short life both in terms of vaping time and recharge cycles. I'd suggest trying AW for more batteries. There are a number of good chargers out there and my preference is Xtar VP series.

Above all, the golden rule of vaping - Backups for backups of your backups!

Segelei makes great mods and I have no doubt whatsoever that they market a quality charger. I think it will be absolutely fine for him. If you want more first hand info, jump in to one of the segelei 100w or other Segelei threads here and ask the users but again, I'm sure the aren't marketing a poor charger.

As far as batteries go, the CF 2 is a regulated device so any quality battery without protection will be fine. The more Mah the longer it will last. You don't mention specifically what model batteries you have but both Effest and Sony are known brands and I would have no problem running them in my devices.

P.S. Your a good Dad!

Actually, I'm unimpressed with the vaping time of ANY 18350 :)

I do have a few, and have run them in some of my telescoping tube mods for the shorter form factor, but carrying a box of spares isn't something I like to do....

Update MVP 60w- I just lost a bar at 8:30 PM, so I'm now at 4 bars left with 3.81 volts left. It says I've taken 672 puffs ( around 224 a day) which were all between 2 to 4 seconds. I'm 71 hours in now, and I went 28 hours since I lost my last bar. This MVP 60w is awesome, I will buy another when the price comes down a bit for sure!

Hopefully I'm giving enough info for the folks that are looking at getting one. I will continue to update until I throw it on the charger.

Edit- I forgot to mention that the light on top is still green.

I was wondering how good is the iSub-G Glass Sub Ohm Tank that comes with it? Seen the setup for $75. thought I might give it a try

I screwed up when I ordered and got the regular iSub, to my surprise it's great. Not one leak, so easy to put together a caveman could do it, and I really like the way the coil is swapped. The airflow is great too, you can go from almost nothing to so open it's like taking a normal breath. You can swap the tip on the G but not the regular iSub. I happen to like the tip on the regular iSub but some might not but that's a plus. It really goes great with the MVP 60w. It also is supposed to hold .5ml more fluid. It's also very easy to fill. The coils are also cheaper than my Aspire coils by almost $1 (.80 to .90 cents) each.

I like the regular iSub so much better than any of my other tanks. The taste is more even and full, that's the best I can describe it. I'll definitely get a iSub G when I get my next MVP 60w. Innokin has won my business after trying Eleaf and Aspire, not that they gave me any problems mind you. The quality and engineering just seems a little better to me.

Cool thank you for the info. I have a Kanger sub as well as the mini. One I use in the RBA mode the other the .5 coil, I really like them. I made the mistake and got the istick 50 it has issues. So I figured if I got another sub ohm battery I might as well get the tank that comes with it lol. Problem is I will still be a battery short ;)
