My thoughts as well, Paul. Maybe working it out from several points with a small hook...

Worst case, get a new one. Quick search came up with this:

Innokin iTaste SVD 2.0 Battery Cover

(Haven't dealt with them, and I suspect there are also other sources.)

:2c: SVD 2.0

I look into my battery 'end cap' and IF I was gonna try and take it apart;
I'd get some pointy tweezers and try to Rotate that plastic disc...

seems a press friction fit wouldn't be the way to go for that

and I would pay $5 for that piece if needed, device surely is worthy... IMO :smokie:

I haven't been able to move it yet. Needs more persuasion. Go the leave in the the freezer for a bit and try again. It not working is not a big deal. Svd2'sd are my main stash mod and I have lots. Just a bit troubling to have the failure. The worst thing that happens is I destroy it taking it apart. Hopefully I will know how they come apart after that.

yepper, and if worse comes to worse you could just 'gut it' and put an appropriate sized flashlight type spring in it and screw cap shut... ;)

I'm vaping with my SmartBox now. It's a really cute, mod. I bought it because it was cheap, small & I liked the way it looked.

It works great, but it takes some getting used to vaping a mod without having a screen. I was happily vaping away when it just stopped working a few minutes ago. When I tried to figure out what was wrong I noticed the red light was on, so I put my battery on the charger and popped another battery in the mod. It's vaping just fine again. I'm going to have to pay closer attention to this mod going forward so I don't fry my battery.

I've never had a Coolfire, but I am thinking I may get one with an internal battery for my father-in-law.

The one in your picture is used with an external battery isn't it? Do you love it? How does the finish hold up?

I have two CF4s, one for the Mrs. and one for me. Built in batteries and they hold up fairly well for me. I'm vaping on mine at 25 watts to give you an idea. The finish is great and it feels nice and "tactile" in the hand without being rough.

Thank you! I've held a couple of them in vape shops and they're very pretty. If my father in law keeps vaping, I'll probably get one with the internal battery for him at some point.

Mine is silver and the Mrs. has the violet. Even on hers, the finish is holding u very well and we've had them since they came out. Charge time is reasonable, too, but we use 2amp capable chargers (real 2amp capable).
