Mine also wont charge with ego chargers ... i tried 3 different ones and no go...
my bottom cap seems secured well but i keep hearing the fall off and get lost so i keep thinking i should pull it off and reglue it just to be on the safe sid cuz ive been wearing mine on a lanyard and dont want to loose the cap should it decide to come off.
its reluctanly become one of my main units (i cant stand the shutoff delay when its fired) and i have not noticed any wear or or anything unusual and no problems with the odd button...
but ive only had it like a week so time will tell....
oh and the threads feel different somehow like when i put on a thread cover... perhaps the top part is a different metal then other egos - it does not affect anything at all just added as an observation
