vapeonly vPower 14500 Variable Voltage mod 3.0-5.0v

Very cool little variable voltage mod by the makers of the successful vapeonly series of replaceable head tanks. These have a palm curved form factor with a stellar, textured paint finish that is sure to hold up without rubbing off. It is a lightweight aluminum body that takes a 14500 battery.

  • The vPower is a single button mod that uses a twist-knob at the top to change your voltage from 3.3v to 5.0v in .1 increments. You can change voltage in either direction by twisting clockwise or counter clockwise.
  • Natively receives an eGo clearomizer as it possesses outside eGo threading- compatible with all Stardust and other CE4 clearos as well as all Kanger T2, T3's, etc
  • You can keep your battery within the unit and charge this mod on any eGo charger.
  • Puff counter
  • 3 Click on/off fire button.
  • Ten second cut-off
  • LED indicator light to warn you of battery voltage when vaping.
  • Dimensions: 114mmm high (4.4 inches); 22mm wide (.88 inches)
  • You receive the mod only without battery. Packaged in substantial attractive gift box and comes with a color manual pamphlet.

I haven't tried protected but I imagine it would require unprotected....

As far as I know, the protected 14500 cells do not provide a high enough MAH capacity to allow enough amperage output to support a boost circuit... which would only leave the safe chemistry IMR types which are not protected but are also not prone to a runaway condition either.
