How do I insert an image, but instead of a small thumbnail, I get it nice and big?

This is an example: the original image below has 54kb, and has a decent size. When I upload it it becomes 19kb, and it's so small you can barely read it.

Thanks,

Are you using the image upload icon? Click that - a small window opens - use "URL" - cut n' paste your url - un-click the box for "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" - click OK. Done.

Or... [URL]insert image url here[/URL] (functional code will not be strike through)

When providing code examples, use the noparse tag so the software doesn't parse the bbcode.

Thanks,

Note that if you click on the image there, it creates a pop up window with a larger size visible. That is just how the forum uploader works.

If you want it larger in the post itself, use an offsite image hoster such as imgur.com or photobucket.com. :)
