I'm using a blunt needle tipped bottle(s) to fill it, fwiw. Easy to do through any one of the wick holes.
I've also not had any leaks, but I do keep it upright most of the time, either in my front left pocket or on a desk.

Just ordered a new ceramic cup-based RBA. Well, they're calling it an RBC I think (Rebuildable Cartomizer). The Killer 705.
I always wanted to try carto-tanks but never liked cartos. Mmmmm.. This might be cool!
Also ordered some silver NR wire, organic cotton rounds, and organic cotton yarn too. Naturally, I'll be using these goodies in the Drunker as well.
Cheesecloth wick is still going strong, but I started getting dry hits this morning. Going to look at it when I get home, but I'm assuming it's an airflow/juiceflow issue. Should be very easily tweaked. I should probably pick up spare tweezers and tiny scissors to carry around in my PV-pack. Lessons learned!

The draw is just perfect for me, it draws like my vivi novas after I widened the air intake holes. I do prefer a slightly airy draw compared to the stock mini novas. Yet you do need to have some negative air pressure that draws juice up the wick. Just love this tank lol!
The only thing I could think of is making non-r leads for the legs. I'm hoping I can build a wire welder with a disposable camera soon. I definitely want to learn electronics. I think I'm going to order a box mod kit from madvapes so I can transition from my ego twist.

I'm going to try my hand at non-r legs soon.. My coils are always such a high ohm in the Drunker. Might help extend the life of the rubber grommet too. I worry about that little thing.
I do love this tank though. I throw it in my bag and don't worry about it. My VVNs used to leak all the time, so I'd have to be careful or get juice everywhere!!
I've been thinking of experimenting with mesh.. soon.. I want someone else to be the guinea pig though, before I go and buy mesh! Tried a tank with mesh and I was quite impressed at how smooth it was. Can't really talk about the flavor, since I have no idea what it was the guy was vaping. It seems like it should work in the Drunker.. But is it worth the effort?
Hoping my Drunkard comes today. Yikes! I gotta get some cotton yarn boiled and dried.
My experience with cheese cloth has been that the farther away the juice is the more likely to dry hit (like in the did and the drunker). The cotton rounds I know you'll like, extremely absorbent and the toughest of the cotton wools. I have also had the least leak problems with them.
I ripped apart an old fluxo to see if the ceramic cups are the same. The cup itself is identical but the fluxo cup has a stem on it where the drunker is flat on the bottom. So that wont work, i dont think.
I tried my first chese cloth wick and it worked really well. I let it soak over night to get fully saturated.
My issue with the drunker is mine is giving me such a funky taste. I'm using Halo Tribeca in it and it just tastes so strange. Ive cleaned the whole assembly three times now but that taste wont go away. I can smell the difference as well, the juice in the bottle vs in the tank after sitting for a day has a very different smell. I wonder if the tribeca is interacting with the chrome plating or the tank plastic?

Strange. I experience no odd odor or flavor with mine. I just rinsed it out when it arrived (and not very thoroughly). Where did you order yours from?

Yes it is worth the effort (it's about the trickiest wick to learn) just to see if you like it. I do like ss mesh and the idea of it, but I also find I just don't get all the flavor notes. I still use it in my did clone because well it's made specifically for mesh, but I can taste the juice better with the spin-e coil in it.
You'll know if the plastic looks foggy if the juice is reacting. I have seen others that have had juice react with the polycarbonate, and to be honest if a juice has something in it that can melt plastic that scares me. You could also be singeing your cheese cloth, if you never have known what burnt cotton taste like it is a horrid flavor.
Here is an important question, how long did you let the juice soak into the cheese cloth before vaping?
tribeca is like a 555/ry4 tobacco blend. Its one of my top 6 juices that i always have on hand so i know it very well. It doesnt have any citrus or cinnamon in it. I'm just scratching my head over here. These things are cheap, maybe i got a one off, i dunno.

Amazon! I bought ...800 rounds.. Ugh.. LOL! But it was the best deal, qualified for free shipping, and should last me forever. Plus, I'm a girl, so I can use them in other applications. Plus buying just one package online is far too expensive. I haven't had luck finding them locally (CVS, etc).

It sat for 24 hours, its crazy saturated. I started at 3.2v to make sure i didnt burn anything and straight off that flavor was there. My 2nd silica wick that i tried before the cheese cloth didnt start with it but it developed it after about an hour of vaping on it. The tank isnt cloudy.
yeah im a prime member with amazon as well, love it. Check out there subscribe and save program. I get a bunch of groceries from them, cheaper than the grocery store and avoid our states lovely super high taxes.
Maybe a silly question, but... Did you boil the cheesecloth beforehand?
My wick and coil has been going for almost 2 weeks now and still not one burnt hit. I'm going to change it out tonight (just because I can).
This RBA is about as perfect as they come.. super cheap, the draw is perfect for me, not too tight and not too airy. It doesn't need to be tilting to wick (or at least mine, wicked with cotton doesn't) I can just pick it up and vape, no worrying about making sure the wick is facing down. I'm not afraid to throw it in my purse and take it out of the house. The draw isn't quite as smooth as my devices that take SS mesh but it's smooth enough. I couldn't be happier with this thing.
Oh... and the flavor.. the FLAVOR is outstanding!
