........I've never tried any redux. Are they easily rebuilt? I'm assuming like a VVN?

I dunno if I'm looking for a clearo, really. I try to stay away from disposable things -- or things that look like I can crush them with 2 fingers. I'm not the most dainty girl. Throw a link up though -- I'll take a look!

Yes they rebuilt like a VVN. But I've changed my mind about recommending them to you, as they do have some runback. With cotton it's minimal but still there. Besides which, I can only find them at madvapes, and and probably not worth it to pay shipping for just one.

Hmm... interesting. I don't have eGo threaded devices anyway. Except, maybe on the eVic (which is on its way to me!).

I gifted my eGos once I had my Reo and ProVari.

Yeah if I wanted to go the clearo route, I'd probably start rewicking the 9 (or so) VVN heads I have sitting there being useless... :p

OK. I got my Drunker in the mail today.

I don't want to waste a perfectly good coil. So, what did we decide. Do I need to wash it out before use? I know it was discussed briefly, but don't want to go back through 283 posts to find it!

I just used mine as is, but believe this is probably foolish, so I would advise you to wash it first even though I didn't do that.

After trying my A7 without washing and getting mouth fulls of machine oil or something else ungodly, I quickly rinsed out my drunker and used it as is for a little bit.

I tried the spin-e coil in my drunker today, still needs some tweeks to get it working right. I did find that the ce2 ceramic cups can fit into the drunker (with help from JD). They do sit a bit higher but definitely are interchangeable. Thank you JD for sending me those, I broke one but got the other lol.

You should always sanitize an atomizer especially cheaper ones made over seas. There was a certain atomizer a while back people were complaining about saying that brand new they smelled like rat urine. Then one person who had purchased one became ill, a type of disease transmitted by rat urine that almost killed him.

Not saying any of our atomizers have this, but it's easier to be safe than sorry. After reading that story I take apart and swab all my parts with rubbing alcohol then hot water.

WELL THEN. Thanks for that, Mack ... I don't know that I'll ever look at these pieces/parts the same again... :p

I've just been thinking about trying a spin-E setup in mine. It doesn't really need rebuilding yet, but I can always come up with some sort of an excuse lol.

I wish I had sent you all three now, as I'll never use it anyway. But you know where it is if you need it. Just let me know.

Well it made me realize how careful we need to be with the original ceramic cups in our drunker tanks because ceramic is pretty delicate. Thanks for sending them to me to play with. I feel better knowing I have a backup cup for my drunker.

This is interesting. I'm trying a spin-E setup in my drunker and so far results are good, but not at all what I had anticipated. This has to be the driest vape I've ever tried. I can remember back when I started switching over, one of my complaints was missing the hot, dry feel of smoke. But, I got used to vapor and eventually came to prefer a low wattage, wet and flavorful vape over smoke. This isn't as warm and dry as smoke, of course, but it is a step in that direction. I think a lot of newcomers would love this. I'm liking it, but not sure just how much yet. I'm going to finish out this tank and see if it grows on me lol.

Since my two favorite eliquid flavors are machine oil and rat urine, it should be OK for me to just use without cleaning first...

... But seriously kids, thanks for the heads-up. My Cobra has arrived in the mail and is in its box, and I'm still using the Drunker stock setup, but will be taking both of these completely apart and giving them a thorough once-over, probably tonight. From now on I'm definitely cleaning before first use.

I haven't fired mine up yet, but thought I'd ask if anyone has had a problem with burning the insulating rubber that the coil legs go thru.

None yet, the legs are longer wich helps. In the process of building a wire welder, my favorite awg is 33 and the legs alone takes up an inch of wire. No singe marks on the rubber grommet yet though.

I'm sure I could mix up that flavor for ya, just don't ask about the ingredients. j/k

This is the best wick setup I have made with my drunker tank. Small coil the width of the slots, 4 wraps side by side with 33 awg kanthal. I have the main cotton round wick threaded through the coil leading down diagonally through wick holes. Then 2 seperate wicks for the remaining wick holes in the slots up to the coil (not resting on the coil).
