Thanks pkj, I'm not worried about pretty. This stuff just seemed to come apart no matter how I tried to work it.

Sounds like a good idea.
Just out of curiosity, I was wondering if anyone had tried using the bamboo crochet #10 in the Drunker?
I have been following many of the RBA/RBT related threads for some time now and the one that mentions it is here:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modding-forum/284030-wick-materials-safe-vs-dangerous.html .
Considering this for my Drunker, so far I have no like for cotton. It burns too easily and apparently I am less than patient.
Also considering using SS & Bamboo combination wicks. If anything good comes of it I will definitely share the results.
Thanks
Whew! Tried working with this stuff this morning, and find that it's way too fragile for me. Just comes apart too easily. Maybe have to go on to something else.

I want to make sure I understand. You boil the rounds, q-tip ends, or any cotton that you're going to use as a wick, right?
The reason I'm confused is that I would think that they would simply fall apart!
Yarn I can understand. But, even the rounds and the q-tip ends?!
Empire Mods has an RBA called the A8 that looks like the exact same thing as the Drunker. It is more expensive, but prettier too.
That way you could tell the difference between 2 different ones that have different set-ups in them when you're experimenting.
Looks like it might be worth the price to try, but I'll wait till I see a little more on it.

Ask and you shall receive.
I should have a thread started on this sometime next week. Maybe the weekend so I have a chance to play with it.
And....if ya like bottom coil rebuildables, the Kanger Protank looks promising.
Holy crap they shipped it already. hahaha.
Hope you have better luck than I did -- they showed my items shipped the same day and they took a full seven days to reach me. I think the shipping notice is one of those "tracking number received at USPS" things that come along with using Stamps.com.
I wish it didn't have the threaded tank. I would love a Drunker-style RBA in stainless with a glass tank.
