Your sig says you're using 24mg e-liquid. My suggestion would be that you're using too high of a nicotine content. As your body heals itself, you will have more energy to expel. By using such a high nicotine level (a stimulant) your body is going to have even MORE energy. I would say order a lower nic level and start vaping that a couple hours before bed, that way you can "come down" from it when it's time to sleep. If that doesn't work, maybe you should implement some exercise into your daily routine to expell the new energy.

Same here. I started on 16mg and 18mg juices and would get terrible insomnia if I vaped before bed.

It's ONE of the reaons I still have a smoke or two before bed as I cannot vape any closer to bedtime than 1 or 2 hours before without the insomnia striking.

I still get it with 11mg if I vape before bed so limited vaping that to only up to an hour or 2 before bed.

Have ordered some 6mg juices that I will use in the evenings to see if that helps as I noticed the drop from 18mg to 11mg made some differance.

Now one of the side effects of quitting cigs is insomnia anyway. But it is definately the vaping that causes it for me.

Another reason I still have a few smokes is I still like them so much. I've managed to cut down my smoking by about 50% and that's probably as far as I'll get and is a big achievement in my eyes.

The nic rush from smoking peaks and dies off after something like 20 minutes whereas the nic buzz and nic half life from vaping is about 2 hours, from what I've read.

So try some low mg vape juices for your evening vaping - as soon as you get home from work, perhaps make the switch and see if it helps.

Good luck.

It's amazing how we all have different reactions. The first time I quit smoking cold turkey, I lost my sleep completely. Just before quitting this last time, my sleep was awful. I had no problem falling asleep but I could be up at 4 am. When I started vaping my sleep normalized and I'm doing great now. No more 4am wakeups.

i've always been an insomniac. Stopping smoking hasn't helped nor hindered my sleep. However, because I can rarely, sometimes never vape during my 12 hour work shift. I vape up a storm before I go to bed. Sometimes I find myself not even wanting to lay the 510 down because I still want to vape. Other than those comments, benadryl helps me sleep :)

It's very common - as some have suggested, try low-mg liquid in the evenings. You may also want to try taking melatonin about an hour before bedtime for a bit. My sleep schedule was all messed up after an international trip, and that helped me to fall asleep and get back on track.

I sleep a lot better. Probably because I'm not wheezing and coughing. I get the same 6.5 hours a night whether I need it or not.

I used to have no problems getting 8-9 hours of sleep but, after the switch I'm getting about 5. I'm not laying there thinking about analogs either. I just have a ton of energy and my brain won't stop. I took some left over cough syrup and that seemed to help. Anyone else get this?

The first month, sleeping was elusive for me. Then I realized vaping 18mg or 24mg before trying to sleep didn't work for me. My daily routine now is 24mg first thing in the morning, 18mg throughout the day, and 12mg at night. Sleep is much better but, I keep dreaming of flavors I want to try, or a new PV, or a new cartomizer I read about... etc.

I'm the complete opposite, I used to sleep around 5 or 6 hours a night. Now I get at least a solid 8 hours

my sleep schedule never was very good mind you. I would go to bed anywhere from 2-6 am and wake up about 5 or 6 hours later.

now i'm having to make myself go to bed earlier or i sleep in way too late lol

I've always had insomnia, but for the first couple weeks of vaping/quitting cigs entirely, I was exhuasted and wanted to sleep all the time. Now, I'm the opposite... I could easily stay awake until 5am if I let myself (I don't though, and force myself to go to bed). I've also noticed really vivid dreams since quitting cigs...wierd huh? It's only been about 6 weeks, so I'm hoping it'll level off eventually.
