Thanks for the info. I am still sad tho... Bifocals. Seriously need another pair of glasses. I am supposed to have them for stuff like driving.

I've had driving glasses since my my 40's. Fortyitis hit my eyes pretty good right out of the gate. You can get hands free magnifiers as cheap as $12 on amazon/ebay. I just don't get those because I don't like stuff on my head.

I would not be the go to person to ask about steam engine. I am more of a build and see where I land sort. That's why I always leave long legs on my coils. Twisted is tricky on SE anyway because you need the measurement of the actual twist. Just wing it.

All you need is a marker or pen with a good shirt clip. and a nail or a dresser knob. I have a pair of twisting pliers you can have for shipping cost.

Thanks. I don't mind the glasses. They make me look smarter. They have transition bifocals that you cant even tell. It was just hearing that I needed them. Just getting old much faster than I expected.

So I think I am going to put the Drop on it with the claptons and then tomorrow when I get my SQ I will put that on the Pulse and then the dual rabbit I will put on my punk how that sound?

If it works for you it sounds great. With the gear you have you can tailor your vape .

Man, honestly I know how you feel I decided to grow a beard and see how long I could get it (hoping at least Billy Gibbons at most Gandalf) and I have a big grey streak and it appeared overnight...

My hands just hate twisting wire period. Found a shop that would do it for me. Then I got the multi wire fc bug and seldom revisit old build styles anymore.

That sounds like a good plan. I am anxious to get my GR1 tomorrow. Single coils are best on mechanicals. You can still put a pretty gnarly coil on a single coil. The resistance on that alien was .2. I would never put a .1 dual on a mech mod but a .2 single is no problem.

I did 24ga. Kanthal. The wire was really stiff once it was done. Worked good though.

JamesDMad has one. I would like to get one but Clapton wire is pretty cheap and I have a lot going on. It would be cool to make coils out of wire you made.

You can hand twist or braid, some still make their clapton wire by hand. Nice thing about vaping is that the ball is pretty much always in your court.
