I love the old towns up north

Northern CA has some great old western towns. Left from the gold rush days. Weaverville and Yreka are two of them that I have been to

Those are some cool looking towns. I will check them out if I am ever in that area. I need to visit friends in Portland...

Another one is French Gulch. My dad has lived by all of them. He fancies himself an old rancher. He still has his ranch but no more animals.

Does anyone have an opinion on the DPro Mini 22mm? I'm liking what I'm seeing. Of course I am not sure if it is a good bf rda.

It's cool they are all in the same little area.

Yes big gold mining area at one time. My dad lived in Weaverville, Trinity county, in the 70's and 80's. This is when I saw Weaverville and French Gulch. He then determined there were too many pot heads and pot growers among him. He moved north to Siskiyou County and now lives in Ft Jones. Yreka is the closest town to him that has a hotel so this is how I know it. There is also Etna. This far northern area is full of old western towns. You could make a vacation of checking them out.

I like the looks of that one. Nice reduced chamber. Bottom AF is pretty elevated on the inside I also love how small it is. Looks good. It is hard to stay strong on the not buying stuff stance around here.

Think I'm going to take a chance and order the DPro Mini along with the Recurve. I like the looks of both decks and don't look too bad for a beginner squonker. Think I'll like the af on both as well. Plus I have the Gorge, Drop, and Loop to fall back on.

I have a few friends in Crescent City and Eureka. Far northern California seems really nice. Beautiful nature and quiet little towns. I think it would make for a relaxing and scenic trip

I almost bought one tonight. It is still on my "to get" list. One of the squonks I bought was on sale, and had an additional discount pop up when added to cart...looks like a win win.
