Yeah, he's lying.
Although, the husband did suggest getting married on some mountain top as we planned our wedding and I was like, "Um, what about our guests? Do you want me to wear hiking boots because that's what I'm wearing? Like, do my hair and makeup the day before? Your mom uses a cane like are we gonna airlift her or what? Are you going to carry my kid and also it's gonna be dark on the way up there so like, who will carry the flashlight? Are you HIGH?"
He gave in, but I guarantee Mr. Cuervo Suave got up one morning after falling asleep before 7 a.m. HE IS OLD. I'm pretty sure a few times he actually did it without his own consent. LOL.

So a month ago I got a free month of Amazon Prime. I was excited because I really wanted to see the new show with the top gear guys called the "Grand Tour". Well, it looks like i'm keeping amazon prime. The show itself is enough reason to.
It's cheaper than Netflix and you get music and free next day shipping as well. There are a lot of hidden features. I use the 5gb. of free cloud storage
I'm only using it for free shipping, tv, and movies. That, and my Hulu, and huge movie collection, I don't need much else.
I currently have Cable, Netflix and Hulu. I watch maybe 5 hours of TV a week. I do need to streamline but there are reasons I want to keep all. Cable for news. Netflix for some of the shows (The Crown) and Hulu to binge-watch stupid things (mindless TV)
I still have all but cable. I never really watch TV at home but I keep them just in case. I am going to get Direct TV added to my AT&T when Hockey season starts so I can watch the Knights games. It's cool you can watch live tv on your phone now.
We ditched cable and I will admit there are a few things I miss, like Air Disasters! John Oliver (but I missed having him around even when I could watch his show, I want him to come live with me) and etc.
However, I don't watch THAT much TV so Netflix and Hulu are plenty, heck I'll even admit I sometimes watch Hulu only merely because I don't want the husband to terminate my subscription and I somehow seem to manage and live, despite not having cable.
More people need to do this. The cable companies are getting desperate, like they are doing things like offering "free subscriptions" to certain channels if you have an internet connection with them, and pretty soon they are going to Lose Completely and just include free cable with any cable service for one price, in the hopes of keeping their advertisers happy.

I can get a good package from AT&T on Direct TV for $25 a month added to my bill. If they ever get high speed Internet I will Ditch COX completely.
Mine too. It is a sad reality we are creating. We just keep repeating the same mistakes over and over. I feel sorry for the kids now. They are going to have to survive the aftermath.
