The piece of metal holding the wick is threaded and does unscrew like you said. So he actually sold me a CE5? He definitely called it a CE4 and that's what I paid for. I will ask him to show me the CE5 the next time I go there. Thank you.
The terms are jumbled, it's not just you, different vendors call them different things. It's nuts.
Around here, the ones called "CE4" more often than not are disposable and the wick is not replaceable. If yours unscrews, comes apart, and the wick can be changed, that's usually called a "CE5" here. But that's not settled out there. Not by a long shot. And there is also the CE4+, CE5+, and I've seen a CE6. Mind you, when I was using them, my vendor called them "Vision Stardust 2.0", not "CE" anything.
Derp?
Try not to let it rattle you.
The important thing is yours has replaceable "coil heads". That's the bit with the wick. In there is the tiny heater coil that vaporizes the juice. Since they get heated up repeatedly, they wear out. But they're also fairly cheap. Replaceable is good.
By the way, to make it more confusing, the CE number is actually an EU regulation marking, not a name nor designation. As per the Wiki: "With the CE marking on a product the manufacturer ensures that the product conforms with the essential requirements of the applicable EC directives."

So the ones sold in the US aren't CE anything at all. Go figure?
