Intellicharger i2 problem

I've been using this Nitecore intellicharger i2 for a few months now, and it's doing something I don't like, telling me my batteries are fully charged when they are not. The indicator lights all light up steady, but the battery is not fully charged every time. Sometimes it is, sometimes it's not. Normally they are fully charged at 4.22 volts, but this morning it's calling them fully charged at 3.71, and 3.89 volts. I put them back in the charger, and it keeps saying they are fully charged, but they are clearly not.

Sometimes I'll clean the contacts in the charger with alcohol and it will charge them full after that, sometimes not.

So is my charger going south on me? Is it time to get another one?

Yeah, I thought about that, so I'm checking the batteries as they charge for that. I think it's time to get a new charger, I don't trust this one.

I have the I4 and it's never done that. I'm sorry you're having problems.

I've done a little digging on the matter and it would seem the problem I'm having is not uncommon with Nitecore chargers. I think perhaps a different brand is in order for my next charger. Recommendations welcome.

I've heard the one made by Efest is real good. I can't remember the model name or number though.

That would be the Efest LUC, and I've heard of it before, I was trying to think of that one. A very knowledgeable vaper told me about it. I think I'll give it a shot.

My original i4 started doing that and it was not long before it stopped charging at all.

My second i4 the cord is coming apart on. I think next charger is going to be something else.

Love my Xtar VP1.....I was prev. using an I4 Intellicharger, but I like the VP1 better....

Have the Efest LUC V4 on the way from California, will post when I've tried it out.
