A polite request; both John and now you have been dangling the 'exciting new developments' for some time - I'm assuming this has to be the black EVO. Several members including myself are already on tenterhooks for these to arrive on the site so if they all go in 2 days flat there'll be tears! Dangle no more unless there's a firm arrival date - we can't handle the stress...

I agree! I'd rather have someone say...we won't have that for a month....or even we don't know when we'll get it....rather than it will be available next week. And if you say it should be available next week then it's not, at least give an update. These pins and needles are killin' me!

John does a great job for Intellicig, I’m sure he will read your comments and take pride in the recognition.

Intellicig does not have a parent company as such but the myself and the other owner also run another company which has been trading for over 30 years in the Mobility sector, this sector is very sensitive to ethical trading as we are working with venerable adults to give them freedom and mobility on a daily basis.

I’m new here, do I need to tell someone I’m a supplier, from reading some of the posts I need my account changing so I cannot post replies to reviews etc?

As far as news is concerned I let John post that on here in the coming days, he is the front of the company and does a great job at it

Hello David - good to see another 'face' from Intellicig here in the forum. As I'm sure you're well aware John has done a terrific job of representing your company here but he can't spend his whole life posting away - seeing some of the times he HAS posted (from 6am to midnight) he clearly works amazingly hard for you well beyond office hours as well as during them. Give that man a bonus!

Can we expect you to be posting more frequently now as well? If I might make so bold, you could do worse than make folk here and on your site aware of the area of your 'parent' company's business. John mentioned this to me in conversation on the phone and I was very interested. I feel that this is a fair indicator of why you make so much of attention to detail, service and ethical stance.

'Ethical' isn't a word people tend to take awfully seriously these days, particularly when it is (ab)used by multinational corporations, governments etc. Let's face it, I've been propping up Philip Morris's profits for decades but wouldn't consider using the term 'ethical' to describe any of their activities.

Personally I feel that if a company supplies a product with the potential to benefit many people with a reasonable level of responsibility (as Intellicig and some other suppliers seem to be doing) I'm entirely happy if they describe themselves as ethical and have no problem if they make a decent living in the process.

Esmoking may not be allowed everywhere but it is legal and there lies a subtle difference that democratic societies may use to their own preference.

i agree pete. some guys just seem to have a real dislike of anything that slightly resembles a super mini and want to tar all the others with the same brush.

however, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

i just view it as their loss, my gain!

Or in my case, hair loss migraine!!

Looks just like a "Super Mini" to me.
I don't like round ends and there's no "Classic" in the offing and there are only 2 flavours. I think i'll give it a miss.
I've got a box full of these "mini's" and their all dead or not worth the hassle.

I hope you don't mind my asking...there is a lot of confusion going around about the difference between intellicig Evo and the standard smoore m401...Does Intellicig buy parts from smoore. What is actually different?

I think this argument has happened before lol nope intellicig do not buy from smoore, their battery is not chinese, the main difference i believe is the technology inside the battery that gives it a huge run time with no drop off in power

hi mate,

dont take this the wrong way but im not gonna answer that question as i have already done so a million times! if you put intellicig, evo, or evoution in the search bar then you should be able to read all the threads/wars on the subject.

all i will say is that i have both models that you mentioned.........one is quite good with average battery performance and the other is fantastic with incredible battery performance and enhanced features.

check the website www.intellicig.com for more info as well.

i will happily answer any other questions on the EVO that you may have........just not that one, again, and again, and again, and again etc etc

From my experience that's about the size of it. The Evo atomiser is also very durable. Intellicig are one of the few firms out there imho who are continuously striving to make their product better. I, for one, am very happy with the results to date!

Im not sure why you provifded the link, I can only assume to force us in to some kind of explanation???

Did you know that when you buy a Land Rover the engine might be made by Ford, the Airbags by Siemens, the Seats by Faurecia and the engine management by another company.

Sometimes the whole product is manufactured by another company, such as the Suzuki Wagon R this is a Vauxhall Agila. Same Car!

The answer to your question is not easy, we have spent a lot of time travelling round the far east sourcing components, parts and complete modules for the product. For example our USB chargers are from 3 Factories; one CNC's the nice female end, another manufacturers the USB connector the third soldiers it all together. If we have a problem with a part we swap the factory for that individual part.

What does this all matter anyway?? Intellicig Supply an amazing product, we put so much energy in to quality and innovation.

As a consumer your buying a great product.

That's a good idea Kate but i know of two people on this forum who would just say 1thats just sales bulls**t or some other wacky response.

I don't know what the problem is myself, i mean people doing reviews are just reporting what they find, good or bad, with hopefully the aim of saving fellow forum members or noobs money, there is great stuff out there and some real crap as well, hope it stops because it's getting boring and a couple of people are making fools of themselves

Actually that's not a link to a definition of manufacturer, it's a link to the Advertising Standards Authority and their code of practice for traders on marketing, representing and advertising products.

I won't force you to be honest but one day someone will.

By not clearing up another mess you have confirmed that you are all smoke and mirrors. Not very ethical at all in fact.

The health/medical claims you make are dangerous for our practice and are untrue.

Read the suppliers rules too please, you are supposed to register your interests if you want to promote your product on this forum.

...a great product.

In my tiny world this answer means their batteries etc. are made in China as everyone else´s and they were plain lying about them being sourced outside of the true country of origin.

Otherwise they would just say "the batteries are made in Spain" or wherever.

It is funny because the product is receiving top reviews from the users and would probably continue having them even without all this sidestepping. If it is working well, who cares if they made it in China or the Isle of Man?
