Can anyone tell me why its so hard to get a response form intellicig, customer service is very poor

In my experience customer service is very good! I have always received quick service from John. Try 'phoning - if you get voicemail then leave a clear message and contact number. Send an email with a distinctive subject line. I know that they have been very busy lately due to the popularity of the Evo.

terraphon suggested that you have joined this forum to just bad mouth intellicig on every EVO related thread. so far you have made 13 posts, all saying bad things about the EVO.........you are starting to prove him right!

if you are that unhappy then simply send it back to them and demand a refund...........hardly rocket science.

im sure you will respond by saying that you have emailed, no response blah blah blah........so just spam em with emails clearly stating "refund demanded" in the title until they do respond. if you cant be arsed to do that then accept the loss and move on with your life.

Look, to me the evo DOES suck, I dont care if Im proving terraphon right. You guys are making more of a deal out of this than I am, I just originally posted my opinion. Sure, to some it maybe wonderful.

Im just the opposite of you, if you ask me. Most of your posts has been glowing reviews about the evo, hell I even bought the damned thing based on your review.

My last post, all I wanted to know is why is it so hard to get in touch with this guy at intellicig.
This is good info people need to know. You need the good and the bad.

I was considering maybe the fact that I have a faulty battery or atomizer. But based on Parked's experience and others like him, that still may not fix the prob. I believe he returned his 3 different times.

To me thats a major concern, I dont have to post about how good the 901 is, everyone knows. But the its not clear about the evo. To me the product either is not as good or there are some major quailty issues.

So while you give your glowing reviews please dont mind me while I dissent.

We need balance people

Just like you think your positive reviews help, I think my negitive comments help.
That's why I'm posting. Balance

Yeah I know.........Blah blah blah

And its not just the evo. Im my opinion and this is generally speaking (there maybe a few exceptions) super minis arent as good as a 901.
To me the carts take more work to refill, and you dont get as good of a hit, some are better than others.
The one well known knock on 901 is the battery life, I dont mind the carts(myself)

That fact has been stated in other posts, but one more cant hurt.

So to those new to ecigs this is good info.

Don't be wow'ed by one glowing review

Nothing against you guys, igetcha, terraphon. I aint mad atcha

Hi there!

Today I finally recieved my 1ST e-cig...An Intellicig M401-Evo.
I ordered 2 (one for me, one for my partner).

The taste is peculiar, it does not taste like cigarette tobacco to me, more like, it reminds me of pipe tobacco (sweet and plenty of aroma).

However, the "main complain" I have right now is: In both of them whenever I draw, I always get liquid in my mouth, which is really disgusting (very sweet and it numbs both lips and tongue).
After each draw if you look at the end of the cart, you're able to see many drops of liquid.
Is there any way to avoid this? Does this happen with all e-cigs around?

Apart from that, vapor level is fine, draw is easy, feel in hand is ok...but this dripping in my mouth has really dissapointed me.
Please guys, tell me your experience about this matter, I'm kinda sad. ;)

Cheers!

The first priority when this happens is to rinse your mouth and lips in cold water I have used a toothbrush also when this has happenend to me.
These type of cart systems are prone to this happening for a few reasons.
If new and not used then most likely being hole end up and then from being jogged and turned around in transit some of the liquid leaked out of the inner cart and into the outer cart and then too the little hole area.
The best thing to do with the cart you are using and exsisting new carts is this.
Get some tissues or kitchen paper wipes, get a Paper clip open it up.
Remove the cart and then insert the paper clip into the tiny hole and push the inner cart all the way out on to the tissue/kitchen paper wipe then wipe the outside of the inner cart.
Then roll up an end of tissue and insert into the empty hole in the bottom of the inner cart and wipe out.
Once this is done check the filter wool is inserted with 1mm to 2mm gap from the top of the inner cart you can gauge this by inserting the atomizer into it (this also gives better vapour).
Now take a tissue and roll it up to insert into the outer cart and then wipe out the inner section of the outer cart.
you can now insert the inner cart back into the outer cart you can use the paper clip to push it all the way in using the edge of the inner cart with the paper clip.
You can repaet this with each new cart before using it just to be on the safe side of not getting any liquid in your mouth and lips.
It is worth buying a pair of pointed tweezers if you do not have any of these as they are useful for working with these carts in particular the filter wool.

Refilling carts I fully remove the inner cart and drip liquid onto the filter wool until level with the top of the plastic inner filter.
Then I dip the atomizer into this liquid that sits above the filter wool this soaks up the liquid above the filter wool, I then dab the atomizer on a tissue just to make sure there is no excess liquid that may run down the side of the inside of the outer cart and find it's way to the bottom thus getting liquid in the mouth again.
I then use the pointed tweezers and pull and push the filter wool around a bit making sure I leave that small gap afterwards,
I then wipe the outer part of this inner cart and a dip into the top with an edge of the tissue just to remove any excess liquid that may find it's way out.
Then reinsert inner filter into outer filter as explaned earlier.

This cart is better than the older type they use to have.
lol sorry I know this is long winded but did not know how to explain in short.

yikes, sorry about the fluid in your mouth, but yes, GET IT OUT of there :)

honestly, i've not had that happen with mine, i got my EVO on monday...no leakage. how are you (or are you) refilling? could be if you're dripping, it is getting down the sides.

and again, i love pissing contests...so i'm going to join in.

as for this "i can't contact Intellicig" crap...you're not "balancing" anything by saying it. sure, opinions from everyone are valid...but when EVERYONE else is saying "dude, i have no problem contacting them" it just makes you sound like you're whining about it just to be whining.

i emailed the website and WITHIN AN HOUR i got a reply. hell, i'd be willing to bet that no one on this whole forum has ever had this issue, because if it was a big deal...everyone would be talking about it.

you can have your opinion on not liking your EVO, but saying it sucks is just...well...as petty as this online bantering.

the product doesn't suck. it's very well made, and is obviously selling very well.

maybe you should rephrase your opinion into an actual review of why "it sucks" for you instead of that it just sucks and you can't get a response from them.

also note that i've posted neutral/negative things about my USB charger and how it doesn't light up...no one is ...... because i did so in a constructive way.

hell, i even pointed john (intellicig) to my post about it, and he still read it AND replied to my email.

and honestly...i'll argue all day, and i don't care if you call me names or tell me i'm immature, because i just simply enjoy it.

share your info and experiences, don't just run around telling us the sky is falling because you don't like your EVO.

go buy a hot pink 901 or something instead.

i think i'm going to get one myself.

I already have a pink 901 :)

Im not as back and forth as you may think. Im not into pissing matches like that, things got heated, could have been more diplomatic........moving on.

I'll sell you that pink 901 for 100 bucks tho.

Oh. I did finally get a response from Intellicig. Been reading some posts about the pilot atomizer with the evo. I ordered one from puresmoker I'll give that approach a shot.

If it works to my liking after that then I'll keep it. But its like this thing has a huge learning curve. The pilot atomizer gives me hope.

Im still leaning on the "it sucks" side of things .....but we'll see.

hi, i like the evo, well i didn't try anything else, but it feels good.I have two questions to ask !first is that from a pack of 5 cartriges i found that 4 of them were half filled(i think) because i only had approx. 1 and a half cigarettes from each of them (10 puffs each, soft and long draw),has anything like this occured to one of you guys? the 2nd question is: after 3 draws , i don't feel the troath hit anymore(assuming the cartridge is full) Do you feel it the same?? maybe if i refill the cartriges with tw juice ,will be better.what do you think?

sorry for all these questions but I'm new to e cigs, i just had it for a week......

thanks

i would suggest watching some of the vids about refilling carts, there's some info about moving around the filling in the carts themselves. if they seemed half full, it could just be that the fluid is in the bottom and not wicking to the top, maybe try tweezers to push the filler down to the bottom of the cart and pull it back up a few times, maybe it will soak in some more fluid.

the carts i've received with my EVO and Pilot are lasting well within the estiimates i've read, sorry to hear yours aren't :(
