Hi, folks.

I was a 25 year smoker, having started when I was 15 years old. I tried quitting multiple times, using the lozenge and patch at various points, but nothing ever stuck and I eventually went back to smoking. I then discovered the wonderful world of vaping, and have been smoke free ever since. For this, I am very appreciative.

I am also a cancer patient, having been diagnosed just over a year ago with a form of Leukemia. Thankfully, it is thus far well managed with daily oral chemo. For what it's worth, my oncologists state that this form of leukemia has no direct ties to smoking, but one can't help but wonder if smoking accelerated the onset, or if I would have even developed it at all if I didn't smoke.

At any rate, I discovered a very recent article by a top NY hospital, NY Presbyterian / Columbia University, that seemed quite interesting in regard to vaping and e-cigarettes. Dare I say that it was somewhat favorable as well. Just thought that I would pass it along to everyone else here as some of you may find it interesting.
