i noticed that after there were quite a few people posting complaints about Totally Wicked customer service on their subforum here on ECF, their moderator has deleted ALL threads. hmmmm....wow. censoring just to avoid bad publicity. wow. now i have lost all respect for that supplier. oh, and by the way, someone posted a new thread to ask about this, and THAT was deleted!

The suppliers forums are controlled by the suppliers for their own use as promotional/community tools. I think you are right that being heavy handed is counter productive but it's their prerogative. I guess that is the reason there is a forum for supplier reviews that is moderated by the actual ECF staff.

I think TW went back with deletion to Sept. (Don't quote me!) I never had a problem with customer service. The only thing I was frustrated with was the ending of the sale. BTW it seems like this may be a new trend upon vendors. Kind of like bait and switch. They offer a sale price. Once to the site it states the product is all sold out. No way a sale can be sold out that quick. I don't believe it. (This is not TW BTW).

My new years revolution is to ignore principle. It seems not to apply anymore.

Over the past several years I've probably spent over a grand with TW, and always have been satisfied. There were a few times I had a bad batch of juice that was exchanged, even before I sent the bad batch back. I bought a PCC case that was defective and that was replaced before the bad one even got back. There were a few old threads a long time ago that both customers and TW got a little out of hand. All in all I can tell you that they are a pretty straight up company with a good product. I don't endorse or work for the company. I've just been satisfied with them. I'm in business as well, not e cigg, and I know how hard it is to please every customer. Some you can't, no matter how hard you try. When a person has a beef with a seller and does a thread about how bad they are, it sometimes can cause a group to look at every small detail of transactions and find some fault. Not always, but it does happen. I'm as guilty of that as anyone else. I added to a thread not long ago about a seller being pretty crappy. Guess what? It was deleted! I do wish that there was a way that if a company was flagged more than usual, that the forum could ask that the company to explain why they are getting so many complaints or face threads that don't get deleted. Just a thought guys. We have a pretty powerful voice with this community.
Happy and Healthy New Year All!

TW is a little pricey but i've always been satisfied with their products. i'm not a fan of censorship but I can understand rant posts getting deleted.

it's way more productive to take your grievances direct to their customer service. badmouthing gets you nowhere. now if you've already done that, sure a post to get their attention would be helpful, but it seems like normal issues come up and people just start pointing fingers and freaking out without letting a supplier remedy the situation.
