Internet slowdown day

There's a protest going on today protesting proposed changes to the internet ("fast lanes" AKA normally slow lanes). ?Unfortunately? the proposed avatar is animated. It's all part of net neutrality rules and regs. Here's more info:

Would it be possible to have a one-day exception to the animated avatar rule?
I'll change my avatar to show a sample. I suppose you could warn or ban me for it but I'd rather you just zap my avatar if the answer to this post is "No, please don't".

So feel free to zap it, or ask me to change it back.

Of course, Tibby mentioned it in the snail thread. So we can blame her.

EDIT: It appears that it doesn't animate anyway. Maybe I'll edit mine to be more...evident.
