Unlike TVECA, at least SFATA is concerned about, talking about, and has hired a big DC lawfirm to oppose the worst provisions in Chapter IX that would ban e-cig products.
Thanks for that input Bill.

In my house, the following are four letter words...
--Stanton Glantz
--Ellen Hahn
--Christina Gratziou
--Health Canada
--CTFK
--ANR
--RWJF
--TVECA
--FDA

And now let's add...
--Ruth Malone

If there are others I'm leaving out, I apologize to them, and would gladly add them to the list the next time they spout off.

I think SFATA's goal is to protect the perceived interests of V2 and Greensmoke (and perhaps other e-cig companies that join SFATA).

And despite the recent behavior by Chris Venis (that prompted me to not attend SFATA's E-Cig Summit), I think SFATA is and will be a far better advocate for the e-cigarette industry than TVECA has been (or has the potential of doing).

Agreed - TVECA seems a very shallow, near-narcissistic organization, from what I can tell (though I could certainly be wrong). What I thought was interesting, speaking of SFATA's lawfirm, was that one of the lawyers speaking at their recent confab is a former FDA lawyer, and had some unique insight.

I'm curious now if CASAA has any dealings with SFATA, and if it's goals are congruent with CASAA's?
