How the hell did you get 0015?! I was in the first 100 batch and got 0280.

I don't know. But here it is:

Ya. Something is wrong with their numbering system. Mine is number 0022. Though I ordered in November 2013, there is no way that this is the correct S/N.
Maybe they restarted their numbering with the dna 30 release? That would make sense since I was a hold over DNA20 order. Rob are you on the DNA30?
As a side note, I've been putting my Futura through its paces and it's working/looking beautifully.

After a bit of back and forth last week, Jon notified me that my Futura had shipped and sure enough it trekked from CA to NYC arriving on March 15. I only just got home this morning and received the USPS priority shipping box with a loose Futura wrapped in minimal protection, no instructions, and accompanied by a bag with a spring and allen wrench. At first the (lack of) packaging was a bit unnerving - particularly when I put my brand new Sony VTC4 flat top and got no response from the device. Then I realized a button top was probably in order so I grabbed a slightly older Sony VTC4 button top and not surprisingly the device turned on successfully. I put my original Kayfun Lite Plus (built at 1.1ohms) on top and fired the device at 15W, 20W, 25W, and gnarly 30W. All fired successfully and quickly. On a side note, I did notice that my KFL+ doesn't sit flush against the top cap. I will need to inspect the device more carefully to see how to adjust for this.

So was it worth the 7 week wait? Not sure yet. I'm still cooling off from the unorthodox customer service experience so I don't want to bad mouth the device based on that experience. But at a cursory glance, the tubing is milled and finished beautifully like many others have said. The toggle button (up/down) is recessed evenly and wraps around the body. It feels just slightly wiggly and it's not particularly "clicky". However, it is quite responsive. I do wonder if this will be durable. The fire button is recessed but sticks out just a bit and has a very substantial nice click to it. I can't yet say how I feel about this device, but my initial impression is that it meets my criteria for being a nicely made DNA30 tube mod. I will follow-up in a couple of weeks after I've tried it out in different configurations with different atomizers, batteries, etc.

Did you get the 510 only cap? Mine is a little wonky too, I just sent Jon a message. It looks like the 510 threads are off by a little bit. CNC machining error with the axis of the threaded hole, about 1-2mm off so it doesn't fit flush. It'd be hard to see with a regular carto, but is very obvious with my Russian with pretty tight tolerances, obvious with a Kanger protank3 and not as much with a Tobeco clone with looser threads.

Just got that on yesterday too ! All mails replied in very short time.
All problems found solutions , even if I'm moving during the shipping of my futura (!)
Never thought I would hope it to ship one week later

I'll sell mine most likely, this really is pretty stupid. Jon must not have the time to operate this venture.. That's what it seems like at this point; I have received three DNA boards already in the mean time, and I ordered those just a week ago. I have sent him about 5 emails since Feb 4th and only two were responded to.. Not happy with nexgen, maybe I'll be surprised if/when it ever comes in.. Sorry for b!tchin, but this is getting old..
