I don think it s a big deal I remember last year when provape had to change shops for the metal tubes because they were constantly delayed and running out of stock while at the same time deliver times on the provari continued to get longer and longer.

Alba Vapors is going through the exact same problem right now with the cobra hybrid, after talking with them to find out about an 18650 model the supplier sent the wrong size tubes and refuses to fix it, now he is forced to either find another supplier or mill them himself, Im sure paying for an unusable product has to hurt. and the cost of the delay is immeasurable as well as titanium stock cant be cheap or easy to mill.

Its tough to run a business that relies on outsourcing now a days, you and your crew are excited to deliver and the people you outsource parts from see it as just another order. just be glad you didnt set up shop in fla where we will get to it when we feel like it seems to be the norm anymore lol.

In my my mind your here, your communicating, and trying to do what you can, unlike several other mods that took the money, then zero communication before they suddenly fell off the earth over the last year.(dig hard enough you will find the threads)

Thanks, Thrasher, I really appreciate the support. We were a little naive in our expectations and now we're paying the price. We've set up some controls and procedures so future builds should be quicker and more accurately estimated. Please understand, though, that we're not going anywhere and we will deliver every single order exactly as promised. Any errors, omissions, or mistakes will be dealt with promptly and at no additional cost to the buyer. And we might even throw in a free, plastic, made-in-usa drip tip or something. :)

we have one rule where i work, and its a principle I helped establish, honesty above all else, we would rather call the customer and have them disappointed in a delay then promise a time frame we cant deliver on or send them an inferior product, and this openness and commitment has actually given a boost to our reputation as a supplier of a superior product. if it isnt up to our standards we refuse to send it.

it will all work out as long as you stick to your beliefs and build a topnotch product.

Thrasher, I couldn't agree with you more. But the one thing that has been promised for awhile now is a video and that is not outsourced.

My video skills are non-existent, so I'm editing the thing now. With luck it'll look like an 8 year old shot it instead of a pre-schooler.

I've been on the internet since the days of calling into bulletin boards and hoping 1 of the 10 or 20 phone lines were open :)

In all the time I've purchased many things that are "coming soon" and I've learned 1 immutable truth, timelines are always off, always.

The only time to worry is when the person you sent money to disappears for more then 2 weeks or they start to repeatedly make promises and fail to keep them.

All in all i'd say things are moving as well as can be expected.

Ah, the good ol BBS', lol. Before AOL, before anything really with pixelated DOS-like graphics. It was like internet atari style in the early 90's & not that many people even knew about it. Haha

I have very fond memories of dialing in to the local BBS, finding a super awesome game and starting the download. Then we'd head out on our bikes to the movie theater, watch one or two. Maybe stop by Bob's Big Boy for a burger with that delicious relish and then back home. Holy heck, the download is flying, we're already half done!

When it was all said and done you got to play this beauty:
