I just ordered the tap off the ebay link because it was a lot cheaper but it'll come from China so it'll probably get here long after the Futura... so I'll probably end up using a kayfun or origen to widen the threads rather than waiting for it to arrive.

i dont think you will need it if your mod hasnt shipped jon is taking care of the problem and if you do have one jon is still taking care of it

I’ve not been able to get a hold of Jon or anyone at NexGen. I needed to cancel my order (due to extenuating circumstances, not anything to do with the device itself). Over the course of a week I’ve emailed Jon directly, sent him a PM on ECF, used the support ticket system on their website, and called the phone number listed as their contact on their website (which is answered with a fax tone).

Would love to know how others are getting in touch with Jon.

I wonder how the customers not on this forum are feeling.

You guys n gals have finally changed my mind. The lack of a formal response at this point is purely bad business practice and inspires little faith in this company or their ability to support this product. The only person who has said they are AWARE of the 510 issue was a poster not affiliated with the company in any way as far as I know and he didn't say how he got his info. LeftCoast if you are reading this forum and you care about your business' future now would be a good time to address the masses.

Yeah. Im starting to feel a bit scammed. He hasnt shown his face here or at any of his contact info in a week now. This is starting to get shady.

the way i read it they are sending them out over the next 2 days with a prepaid return envelope

Thanks for the reply. From what i see, this is an unconfirmed report and the vendor is not replying to emails. At this point I am attempting a return... the lack of support and the fact that these are requiring "fixing" out of the box is quite wrong. We waited and waited and waited and waited and now have to wait some more even after getting them???????? Maybe I am the only one that feels this way. I have never had this problem with another well known mod... and i own 4 of them.

Good luck getting in touch with them. I hope you are able to cancel... Wish I had.
