I'm shooting for March. Once I get my hand on the final design, I will abuse it for for awhile to see how durable it is.
Abuse...

That's my specialty.
Misuse...

That's the wife's name. (Would be misses, but she hasn't taken my name yet.)

If it's not obvious, I'm offering our services should you be in need. We're pretty nice like that.

Illumin is a pretty goofy online store. I ordered 4 samsung 25r's on 2/9 sits around processing until 2/13 it finally ships I get it today.......excited to open my package I feel it........ Flat I'm like huh........ Its just the black wraps I bought to rewrap these ugly colors that the battery Co are going with...... Sky blue... Yellow...... Green.......... To find the wraps are the only product that shipped........ Horrible. Their sending the Batts out priority so I guess that's another 6 six days!

I ordered from Illumin also, 4 25rs and some wraps. It also sat for 4 days before it actually started moving. The prices are good, but their shipping stinks.

This is funny since I've used them twice and both times the items were at my door in Australia within a week

Thanks, I'm pretty good at abuse myself.

I will drop it on concrete at different orientations and speed (with an atty attached). I figure if it survives that, it can survive any abuse you throw at it, unless you are deliberately trying to destroy the mod.

If your sole goal is to break it, then I'm sure you can break any mod. For example, if you tell me the mod was not durable because you shot it with a 50 cal and it broke, then that's not very useful feedback...
Oh no Paul, I don't need to purposely set out to destroy your mod it just happens..... Actually it happened over the course of 3 months and it was a wooden mod...... I honestly killed it..... No resuscitation needed. I promise to love your mod Paul! I promise! Lol

Real world testing? Not sure I'm proud of this, but I've got that covered. Dropped my dibi Sumpin' and broke the wood. It glued back together perfectly. Then the ceiling fan attacked the Sumpin'. It survived without a dent. Erlkoenigin on a Vapor Shark met the Eddie Bauer lift gate. VS survived, but the Erlk needed a new tank (the coils were fine ;)

Yea, yea, pics or it didn't happen...

Oh. And I also lost an EA on my friend's boat. I thought it went over the side, but it was found months later during an engine rebuild. Months of hot, humid Gulf of Mexico salt air & fresh water washdowns. Still had the juice and it vaped just fine! I only tested that once before cleaning the atty out for reuse. A good testimonial for the NO-OX-ID "A-Special" that I use on the threads of all sea-going mods.

Yep and I wasn't the first - or last to break it there. He redesigned that lip for improved strength. I like the new look as well. I'm on the list for another, but who knows what will be available by the time that number comes up? He has at least three models available so far and I want all of them!

Oh yeah.... I'm gonna have to one up ya.... Lol ...... When I mean I killed my mod.... I mean murder. Lol
So what your seeing is 3 cracks in the wood around the 510 connection and one through the body over the door.......
FOR THE WIN ....... Not proud though.
This is how it happened before everyone thinks I'm a klutz..... so there's a big gap when using my Magma so to take that gap up a bit (I thought (dangerous) I would place a rubber washer I had laying around perfectly matched the diameter of the magma...... Buttttt I wasn't getting connection to the 510..... So I torqued it down little bit little looking for the mod to fire up...... Well between one of those lil by lils I heard a loud snap....... Split the wood on both sides of the 510 to the point that the whole 510 if not attached by wires would just fall out...... Then the other cracks reared their ugliness as time went on....... Total of 3 months. ....... at least I can laugh about killing a $175.00 mod.

And I'm not showing both Springs on positive side cracked off.
