So if I rush another (different) mod out before 8/9 and sell it to a few friends, and assuming I keep invoices, receipt, etc, I should be good for the next two years? I heard one needs to submit something to the FDA by 8/9 because that's how they'll know if something is "on the market" by that time. A little confused on this...

Well..we can always hope my friend. Besides..I'm sure Paul will make other runs before the FDA starts the witch hunt.

Of course, one can only hope though lol. It is a beautiful mod, and it's hard to find American made squonkers that are on the cheaper side, that are actually nice looking.

And in the future Paul's won't be so cheap either.

He stated before he underestimated his costs and will take a loss selling this first run at the promised price.

And to be honest the first batch is highly unprofitable for me. But that's okay.

That's not good at all..by a margin of how much?

He did not say. It's not unusual for a new product to cost more than expected, especially with all the changes and the delays. It could cost 10-20% more for some parts now versus the estimates from the fall of 2014. Changes may have increased some parts by more than 100%.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone seen or built an atty where the dual coils are on the same side (rather than opposite), and one is above another? I believe those who build quad coils would build this way.

Pretty much anything with a Velocity style deck...

If you build only two coils on the above atty and place them all on one side (one on top of another), does it vape similar to a dual coil in a "traditional" deck where the two coils are on opposite side?

No, it'll be different. The air flow will be very different.

Do you think the throat hit will be more intense? Since the air from the bottom air hole will be essentially carrying all of the vapor produced by the top coil. What difference(s) do you think there will be?

I'm not the guy for that.

I can just see the physics that say the air will flow differently with 2 stacked on one side (and I assume air on just that side) v/s separate sides (and air flow on each side).

My personal experiences are small and not enough to common on the effects.

Honestly, I'm not a sub ohm guy. I've got 1.5ohm coil in Stumpy that will be modified for bottom feeding. I had a 0.4 Ohm build in a Veritas (dual vertical) for a while, but have to use much lower nicotine to enjoy it long, used way more liquid than I like, and still didn't like the way it felt/hit.
