Yes, the manufacturere will say around .5 but even that low you want to be careful....warrantties are void when vapign subohms on a mod liek this!

Wolf, if it is like most in that chipset probably around .5-.6ohms. Anything less on some of them can damage the chipset.

This thing is beautiful! Combined with the Big Budda it must be something... I was loading up my cart and hand the hardest time not pulling that trigger. I couldn't empty the cart though.... it's just sitting there taunting me..... although I've noticed that cute little BEC winking a couple of times too.

The Mars does deserve a bump though.

OK it is BIG and you tilt the whole thing NOT the button to change the watts, I’m getting more wrist exercise with this 26650 than I got as a teenager . It’s not going offshore for sure, weighs as much as my oscilloscope.
Going to do a 1 ohm first on the Big Buddha to start off, will go to less than .5 and let you know but just starting winding coils. Just playing with the BVC’s on it now at 7 to 12 watts, all good but of course that’s not what this mod was made for.
Going to the BB thread for advice, should of started with a RDA instead of a the BB but always jumped into the deep end first. The BB just looks so good on this mod, I mean it really is beautiful :).

Mine arrived today, and I just popped in a fresh 26650 to give it a go. My other 26650 mod is a Seven-22, so I'll mostly be comparing to that.

The finish on the Mars looks nice, but I think I prefer the brushed finish on the Seven-22. The polished finish is definitely a fingerprint magnet, and it feels a little more slippery in my hand. The button on the Mars, however, feels better than the Seven-22. They both have a tactile "click," but the rounded top on the Mars gives it a better feel and there is almost no wiggle to it, while the Seven-22 has a decent amount of play.

Construction-wise, the biggest positive to me is the threading on the Mars. The Seven-22 squeaks like a mouse stuck in a glue trap any time I change the battery. The Mars is super-smooth, with no noise and no grinding feel.

I popped my Aerotank Turbo on the Mars and hit the button... nothing. The Mars wasn't reading the atomizers. Both the Aerotank Turbo and the Mars have adjustable pins (both flat-head), and a quick loosening of both did the trick. Once fixed, it has great performance. I'm running 12W, and the combined resistance of the coils on the Turbo is 1.0. I don't have any fancy metering equipment to test it, but it seems to give consistent power per puff and throughout each puff.

Operation-wise, it's identical to the Seven-22. The display looks the same, the menu options are, as far as I can tell, identical, and they both use the same "gravity system" to change settings. The one difference I've seen is in the cut-off. The Mars gives you a 15 second cut-off as opposed to the Seven-22's 10 seconds, which is great for a deep-lung inhaler like me.

Overall, the only ding I'd give the Mars is in the finish, and that's very much a subjective issue. I might add some grips to it, but I'm definitely happy with the purchase!

Hi guys,
I have bought this mod hoping to use with my Aerotank Turbo but everytime I hit the button I get check battery on the screen. I am using MNKE batteries (2) that were fully charged. What could be the problem? I was vaping at 20-25 W range.

Verify your connections on everything... the battery, the 510 connections on the atomizer to the mod... the coil heads themselves.

mirthmgr just before your post mentioned having to adjust their 510 pins... so lets start there... adjust yours so when tightened down you still have a gap ( this makes certain it isn't this connection and you can readjust for no gap later )

The Turbo comes with two 1.8Ω dual coils by default... with two installed, that should give you 0.9Ω... verify your Mod shows about this amount up to around 1.1Ω ( Kanger heads usually read high a little bit... I wouldn't expect more than 1.0Ω but added a little just in case ). Double check that both heads are screwed in tight to the Turbo's base. ( If you changed the heads out for some of the sub-ohm/low ohm heads... you should be reading about 1/2 of their rated resistance give or take a bit... make certain you are using identical ohm coils and not mixing different resistances )

Double check that the battery is making good contact... clean both sides of the battery as well as the mod's contact points/springs. Verify the batteries are fully charged with a multimeter... they should read 4.2v when fully charged. The MNKE 26650 3500mah IMR Battery is capable of delivering 20a constant current and 60a burst current.... If using the 1.8Ω heads at 25w, you should only be pulling 5.27a... if using two 0.8Ω heads at 25w, it should only pull 7.9a... the Mars 26650 uses the YiHi SX330 35w chip and is capable of delivering up to 13.5a so you should not be reaching a max amp limit even if you are set to 35w at the resistances I listed above.

Given the above... it looks like the issue is a connection problem somewhere... while I listed the battery connections last, I think that is the more likely area to look.

Gotvapes ( if that is where you got the Mars and battery ) is great for service issues... contact them through their help desk ( on their website ) if the above didn't help isolate it and help correct the issue... Max ( woody55 ) may have some other ideas that you can check that I didn't think of that may also help.
