HBV's Apricot is made to be a delicate flavor.. ie subtle and not in your face just as it is described on his webpage.

I'm not one for fruits and certainly don't go with delicate flavors myself... but everything I've vaped in an Evod had good solid flavor that was certainly consistant.

Both settings you mentioned are 6 watts or less... which is on my low side that I vape at. I select my wattage by how the eliquid tastes as well as to not go too high and have it start tasting burnt... The Apricot you listed probably won't take a much ( if any ) higher wattage, but it wasn't made to either.

Get a bottle of GotVape's Hush... it's a fruity vape that can be set at low wattages ( say 5w ) for a pretty light flavor up to higher wattages ( 9+w ) for a more saturated flavor... Personally, I taste peach in it, others have listed several other fruits so it will be different for everyone. It also has a nice heavier undertone that comes out at the higher wattages that I really like. This should let you test out the equipment you have and get a saturated flavor if you set it to higher outputs.

After you fill... take a few hits without hitting the power button... this should get the e-liquid into the wicks etc. If you still get dry hits, it may be from using a thicker e-liquid and you can address that by thinning the wicks a bit...

Don't thin the wicks until you've tried the first part and then don't thin them too much or you risk it over-wicking...

So .. You I took a wick out and this thing is hitting amazing with the flavor I require .. Its night and day .. Alot of folks, especially in Phils video review say to take the center tube off and then pull the wicks out .. you DO NOT NEED TO take the center tube off .. Just use needle nose tweezers / pliers and pull the wick through .. it comes out with no problem at all ..

Very happy with this thing after doing that .. Im not sure how kanger ships these with so many wicks? Does anyone not vape these over there before approving them to prodcution?

These are Anyvape... not Kanger...

They must make these they way they are... not all e-liquids are the same viscosity. Thinner e-liquids require the amount of wick these have out of the box or they would overwick, gurgle and/or leak out of the bottom... So, those people vaping the thicker liquids can easily customize them simply by removing a bit of wick... In otherwords... it is by design.

I can only use the 1.8 head on my eGo C Twist VV 1000mah battery... at the lowest setting. Any higher V or any higher ohms burns badly. I'm new to all this, so if there is something I can do to make those other two heads work better, please let me know. Thanks!

ya got half of that backwards...

higher ohms = cooler vape = less burn

try a different higher ohm head when ya get a chance.

I tried the other two heads in the package but they burnt my juice on the lowest setting. Maybe I didn't get the wicks wet enough. Anyway, I just ordered four more heads, so that should be good. :)

Are you sure it was burning the juice and not just dry burning... tasting burnt from not wicking enough. A thicker e-liquid will do that pretty quick in a bottom coil since they are made at the factory for thinner juices.... Thinning down the e-liquid with pga or distilled water... or thinning the wicks down a touch will help in these cases.

I attempted to dry burn....but I can't see down the tube and see any coils glowing. Is there a trick?

You need to remove the vent tube. First slide the silicon seal off the tube, then wiggle the tube while pulling it. It may take some force to pull it off as the tube snaps firmly in place. Be careful you don't lose the extra wicks sitting on top of the coiled wick when you pull the tube off. That is, do this on a flat surface, not in a sink or you may never see those little wicks again :)
