Are these things safe to hook directly to a computer usb and vape? Since it's technically charging the battery rather than pulling power straight from the port?

Yes, that is a great thing about it. Mine is 900 mah and I'm a consistent vaper. I charge once every morning, and I have yet to deplete the battery!

it should be ok... but always better to use a hub
My Black 900 Manual arrived today. The feel and size of this thing is perfect!

I wish I had more good news, but unfortunately the only cartos I have are the KR-808D-1 ClearoCartos and these things are a nightmare...once I get home from work I will be throwing a left over Fluxomizer on it and seeing how that bad boy vapes. I can already tell this is my be all end all when it comes to batteries...not too much...not too little.

The pass-thru feature is perfect for me too, no more need to switch my cart between battery and other pass through.

I found it on my profile. I joined on 4-17-11. I just don't remember the time of that day... I'd celebrate with you tho:)

Hey Uncle, did you get your new batt?

OH YEA - Now What is your theme - so I can be prepared to celebrate with you . . . :)

AND - as for the NEW X2 battery - I haven't been able to get to my mailbox yet - so I don't know . . .
However, I will be checking later - I'll Let Ya' Know in Chit Chat . . .

Moms need lovin too ;) hehe.. are you trying to seduce me Mrs. Robinson?

Got to love Graduate references, especially now that anyone who might understand them is at least approaching 40...

On the X2 front, I don't like the manual part but I love everything else, I will be ordering another one after my wallet recovers from shock(I may have gotten a little excited about all the options and gotten a three or four month supply in the first week after being introduced to "quality" vaping)

Ornery pups!

Yesterday I got my automatic X2 1300mAh. VERY nice! I didn't care for it as a passthrough because the wire is just too short, but as a stand alone, I'm lovin' it! I'm quite happy that I can have a big "fat batt" (which is actually quite slender), and yet not have to deal with a button.

I secretly (well, not so secret now, is it?) wish it will be something like Vision-style clearomizer... or at least something like 3ml Echomizer. Well, one can wish, no?

I'm with you! My eGo's that used to be gathering dust are now quite enjoyable with Vision clearomizers. That would be incredible on an Volt X2!

So now that I've had a day to use this I have a question, or maybe it is an observation...

The draw seems different when I put the endcap back on when using it without the cable. And opposite of what I'd expect. It draws nicely with the cap off, but airy with it on. I have to draw harder to fire up the carto with the cap off than I do with the cap on. Anyone else experience that? Or is there an explanation?

I got the middle size auto, so I do expect it to weigh more, but it doesn't really feel all that much heavier, so that's a good thing.
I used it as a PT with the cable for the first few hours while it charged. Little awkward since I'm not used to that, plus the location of where I have to plug in the hub is also where I keep my coffee/soda, being right-handed. So I'm a little afraid the cord will accidentally knock that over. But once I have a chance to rearrange a couple things I may be able to work something out.
I put the cone on from my gold Riva to see if it would affect the draw, but it didn't seem to. However it does give it an interesting look - black-gold-silver.

Ohmygosh - You're right! There's a significant draw difference.

If you are impatience, I suspect the iGo Crystal Vision (only 1 vendor has it - so yeah, the market is still up for grab if SI want it) will fit this batt. Not yet confirmed but looking at the pictures of the thread, I believe it will.

Thanks! Just might try a couple of those ... but I'd rather get 'em from SI hint...hint...hint :)

The battery lasts forever.. so when I'm on my laptop at home I'll plug it in and vape it =D

Rob is really loving his 900mah X2. That's his "At Home" vape. He uses 65mm batts when he's out and about, but the X2 waits patiently for him to get home and gets him thorough the evenings, or any other time he's home. It gives me a chance to recharge the 65mms. He refuses to use it as a pass-through, which is a shame, but to each his own. :)
