don't own a fat batt yet, but my volts and halos are all very sensitive at the ash end...you can terminate the draw on an auto by putting your fingers over the slits on the ash cap. so this makes sense. I'm actually surprised there are only three people having issues with the stealth cap being on while vaping.

The problem that Starsong and I are having is that it tends to be a bit too airy with the cap ON - Not the reverse. If you take the cap off, it has a more efficient pull.

Mine works fine on or off. I can't tell the difference. I have only small criticisms on the battery, very minor stuff. The air holes on the carto connection have small burrs left over from the drilling that love to pull off small bits of paper towel when I wipe them down while changing cartos. I have to pull the fibers out with a dental pick, it's something to watch out for if you're having any kind of draw issues. Also, the inside of the "barrel" where the center post is located is threaded instead of smooth like the regular batteries, so wiping this area down is a bit more difficult. Lastly the stealth cap threads seem to be a bit rough, so I have to be very careful when putting it back on after charging to make sure I don't cross thread.

These are very minor things , so don't get the wrong impression. I love my fat batt. I'll be getting a manual to go with it as soon as the ones with an off mode are available.

Here's what I posted in the product review:

I've had the 900 manual for a few days and love it.
I do not notice any difference between the cap being on or off as far as draw goes.
Nor do I see a diff when it's plugged in or not.
Frankly, it's awesome whichever way I use it.
The only thing I have against it is that the draw is so good that I find that my cartos don't last quite as long. I'd like a bigger carto, please!!!!

I also own the regular passthrough, along with the 65mm and 78mm batts. This one blows all of them away, IMO.

Forgot to mention that it lasts me a day to a day and a half!

XL large cartos will be on the site next week most likely Tuesday
How about that other thing you were hinting at, Imagine? (tank-like thing, maybe?) Any new developments?

X2 + tank system = ROADTRIP! :p
In Star's new car! :p

So looks like that funky/mysterious airflow thing just happens on some of the AUTOS (and not the manuals), huh?
