Thought it was time to stop lurking and introduce myself. I’m rather new to this, ok, really new to this. Only tried vaping a few weeks ago…
My wife and I first tried some e-cigs we got a local store, C2Go IIRC. They were ok however they mostly sat in the drawer. Then I saw some Blu’s behind the counter of the local drug store and figured I should do some searching to see what others there were. That is when I found this site.
Based on some of the feedback here we decided to give them a try. What a major improvement. The only problem was the batteries. I knew they were not the best, 3 out of the 4 we had (I got two starter kits) lasted about 6 uses and we did not use them heavily. I called their customer service and they really did not seem to care. I could send them in and they would fix or replace them in a few weeks. Did not even seem to care that that left us with nothing. I did some more digging on this site and decided to move up to an eGo-C 510 setup with 650 batteries (found a really great sale) and I took the Blu’s back for a refund. I cannot stand weak customer service.
We got the Ego’s a week ago yesterday and they were even a bigger step up. We have hardly touched the analogs since. Since then we have ordered even more juices from Copper Creek and NLV. Our biggest problem is all the mess and figuring out how it all works. We are getting better slowly but there have been a few times I almost gave up. After a week now we have figure out that…
Last night I ordered 4 of the new clearomizers to try since I have read so many positive things about them. I have been looking into trying some variable voltage units like an eGo-C Twist. The more we work at it the better we get and the less paper towels we use
I did have some questions, but they seem to be sorting themselves out as we push forward. I am looking to get a small setup just for using in the car. I would rather have something dedicated to keep just for when I am running about but I am not sure what to get. I also wish I could find a good case; the one that came with it is a monster. I could put it in my pocket but people would stare!
Anyway, thanks to all here for providing so much insight. Forums like this are an amazing source of knowledge and I am grateful for all the knowledge everyone has shared here. I had no idea that there was so much to e-cigarettes. I have, however, let one of my co-workers try mine already. Rubs off quick!

- I like dripping but my wife likes the cartomizers. I think the caromizers reduce the vapor and flavor too much.
- Letting the juices “steep” makes a huge difference. The flavors are just now starting to pop now and what a difference. I was rather bummed at how weak the flavors were.
- Cartridges are a mess. Leaking, burning taste, etc.
- NLV is just up the road from us
laugh:, I had no clue when I ordered but it was delivered next day)
- It is not as expensive as collecting watches but close (I have quite a few watches)
- we hardly know anything about what we are doing
