Hi, new here, obviously. I've been messing around with vaping for a couple of years now, but haven't been able to find an experience that totally gets me off of the cigs.
I started out with the Blu e-cig starter pack and all that, but it wasn't very satisfying, to say the least. A few months ago, I bought the itaste CLK! to try to get a better experience and get more serious about switching from the cigs. At first all went very well, I was able to cut back to 2-3 packs a week instead of a pack a day. But then I started having issues, and so now I'm back on the smokes almost full time.
My biggest issue, is that my coil seems to get saturated VERY quickly. The only way I can keep the liquid from seeping out of the breather holes is to only put a small amount of liquid in it, and keep it standing upside down so that the coil is not sitting in the liquid. Then when I want to use it, after the first two or three draws, it's so saturated that it starts gurgling and popping, I've even gotten a mouthful of fluid before. YUCK!
So, that's the issue that drove me to search for answers from more experienced vapers. I don't know anyone personally who vapes, so I don't have anyone to show me the ropes. Seems like the issue started mostly after I changed out the coil for the first time. I went in to my Local Tobacco/vaping shop and had them show me how to change it out and everything. They are mostly helpful, but are always busy and don't really have time to hand hold. I did read something on here in regards to the draw, and I was drawing way too hard I think. I just changed this coil a few days ago, and the very first vaping session, it was flooded, gurgling and popping. I just took my unit apart, and there was liquid UNDER the coil where the top of the batter is. What am I doing wrong?! I made sure that the coil was tight, and when I screwed it into the base of the tank I made sure that was tight too.
If I need to get a different tank, so be it. I'm just lost and the research that I've been doing on the net is just resulting in more confusion. Thanks!
