Hello everyone!
Just though I would introduce myself to all you like-minded individuals. I have been lurking for a few days and this site seems to be the answer I was looking for: a community of people who can help me on my quest to sub out my carton a week habit. I know most people go on a pack per day, but I tend to drink on weekends, which means I smoke more during this time.
I have tried many different gas station type subs, and while a few have worked out decently, I always end up smoking while drinking. I also suffer from withdrawal symptoms while using my store brand e-cigs, although the head aches may be from constantly puffing on my e-cig.
My past experiences have lead me down a path of njoy brand e cig kits, envy e cig kits, and after my envy ran out (bought it on vacation cause Mom offered to pay for an e cig if I used it, it worked decently but left me puffing for a throat hit, and no one sold refill cartos for it around the house), I used some gas station disposables. I really enjoyed the logic black label, which was about the same width as a camel wide and about as long as the 120's Grandma smokes. While I was dropping 5-10 bucks every 2 days on a disposable cig, I started looking around for something long term which can be found no matter where I am, which lead me to Blu.
Blu ecigs (49.99 old type starter kit with charger, 2 bats, and 5 pack sampler, not individually sealed so all flavors taste kind of like the others) sold me on the idea of 2 bats, one on charger while other is being used (my envy ran out quickly and left me stranded at six flags once, and that sucked). This product gets the job done, but just barely. Like I said, I have to constantly puff to get enjoyment out of it, and it is hard to enjoy something that you have to work so hard at. There are many people here who suggest some great sounding products and while my monthly smoking bill would probably cover a provari or other uber device, I still have many things to learn and figure out while I make a decision on what to get. I will in the mean time use my Blu starter kit while I do this research.
I am very excited to be a part of this community and look forward to learning about what I can do to replace a habit I enjoy but feel guilty about with something I can enjoy and feel less guilty about.
I will see you all around after I get my five posts up.
