Well...I'm in OKC - Mac and Britton area (West Side Lake Hefner)...I've got a buddy down the street hooked on V4L as well :)

If anyone wants to meet up, we like to have a firepit on the weekends in the backyard and vape away - and anyone else is welcome, just let me know...

I'm in... I've been sucking on my 510 filled with the wickedly smooth taste of TV's Plain Waffle. I LOVE THIS STUFF. I've been COMPLETELY off of analogs now since October 7 and I've never felt better. turns out I might have a minor allergic reaction to PG and may need to re-buy all my liquids in VG format. My eyes get itchy when i vape but I love the taste enough that it doesn't deter me from vaping all day.

Hit me up with a PM and I'll forward you my cell number so we can plan to get together and talk e-cigs, etc....

Wow! There are other Okies here! I am fairly new to all this. A friend of mine mentioned having an e-cig a few weeks ago and I immediately checked into it. I've been vaping ever since. Funny thing is, I've never ever actually seen another person in Oklahoma vaping. I thought I was all alone. It's nice to know I'm not. :)

I live in Tulsa. It would be nice if more Okies posted here. I keep hearing about legislation in other states and can't help worrying about the possible future of e-cig sales in our state. After all, if we can pass legislation such as the anti-sharia law due to our lack of education, just imagine what the uneducated public will do if some legislator ever learns that some of us are vaping.

HI all
I guess I had not introduced myself before, I always meant to ...just so much to read here .

I live in Oklahoma City, (23 & portland) I just started vaping in sept ...wish we had a shop in town to buy supplies .

And it would be nice to see some other vapers in person, but I haven't yet. I do have my mom-in-law in MWcity vapin' !

And I have a friend in Tulsa that vapes ,but just 4 the shock value I think

I wish I had the financial backing , I'd set up a shop/cafe/website SOMETHING
I think this would be a GREAT Industry to get in to...It has definitely changed my reality after 32 years of smoking !!

Let me know if you guys ever wanna organize a get-together .

Hi everyone. My name is Dawn, I live in Moore. I was raised in SE Oklahoma in the teeny town of Nashoba, my 8th grade graduating class had 5 people, including me! After 8th grade we had to go to Clayton schools, which is near Sardis lake. Anyway, I live in Moore with my husband, 3 daughters and 2 dogs, well 7 since our female just had puppies, but usually 2! I'm the only "vaper" I know so I really like ECF and check new posts on ECF more than I check my Facebook account!! I saw people asking about e-cigs or e-juice suppliers in OKC, I know the Tinder Box carries some type of E-cig, but I don't know what type and I don't know if they have any juices. I decided to go ahead and order mine online so I never actually went there. Might be interesting to find out if they do have various supplies. I quit analogs last June within a week after I got my e-cig, I would say the same day but I kept those analogs in a drawer thinking I'd want one, and I did have one after dinner a couple of times until it was just too nasty, so I quit analogs nearly immediately and I love vaping. My husband quit smoking a few years ago after seeing a hypnotist, but I went to the same hypnotist on the same day and never could quit smoking, until the e-cig! I'm proud of myself but I sure haven't saved any money. I'm constantly looking for my next favorite juice. I'm having fun, though, so I don't even keep track of saved/spent. Nice to see an Okie forum on here, even if there aren't that many of us!

This would definitely be a good business to get in to right now, Kelley. I've thought that myself. When I see how easily vaping helped me quit cigarettes, I knew others would be interested in doing the same. What I've seen available in the local shops is very little, very overpriced, and very under quality. Vapor Kings does operate out of Sand Springs though. They don't have a storefront, but shipping is fast through them.

I know what you mean, Dawn, about constantly looking for your new favorite. I'm still doing the same thing. As soon as I think I have plenty, I read about a new flavor that I would like to try. It would be nice to get folks in the area together for a sampling party. :)

Hello all, and welcome! I couldn't agree more about having a local vendor. The number of people vaping is growing every day. Since I joined ECF it has grown by almost 5,000 members. I think anyone considering it though would be worried about the FDA and whats going to happen with the government sticking their nose where they shouldn't.
Dawn congrats of the puppies! We have 4 dogs and I couldn't imagine puppies on top of that. Where is the Tinder Box?

I know their have been several attempts to have a get together, it would be nice to meet other vapers in Oklahoma and sample and trade what we all have. I am starting to gather supplies to try DIY, just buying a little at a time . I am trying to stay within my budget but with all the sales the vendors keep having it's near impossible.

Maybe after the holidays we can try a get together somewhere half way between Tulsa and OKC

Hi everyone. My name is Dawn, I live in Moore. Nice to see an Okie forum on here, even if there aren't that many of us!

Hit me up on Facebook. I have started a "vapers" sublist of my friend list. I met up with a couple other OKC vapers a few weeks ago. Might be time to do it again.

My facebook page is here: Mark W. Mumma | Facebook Friend me and remind me that you're a vaper and I'll chat with you there to figure out how we can meet up to try new flavors, etc....

I'd certainly be down with a meet-up of some sort - some kind of juice swap meet :)

How about OkieVape 2011 - maybe we can get VaporKings to sponsor it ;)

Or perhaps something less formal BEFORE the end of the year Ken. This time we can meet up at my place. PM me for the address (unless I already gave it to you.)

In the land of no hills and red dirt
1. Got a friend who found a 510 carto kit at some gas station for ten or fifteen bucks. Not bad, really. Showed her how to refill cartos.

2. Webguy, sent you a pm on FB (though I normally detest using it). Know a couple of other guys, would be nice if we could get together and show our mods. What do you guys have?

not mods  @least NOT ME !!

I wish I had a mod .... any interest in teaching folks (me) about mods ? I think I can grasp most of the "how to's", just unsure of the "where to get, which one's".... battery types & sizes & chargers etc.

So far I had found/heard that ...

Ziggy's head shops have some disposables & some Smokingeverywhere kits ,
but they guy I talked to had no idea what was what ...& they were $50 bucks

I have been getting Loranns @ different wal-marts 2 for $2 , not all have them

& at Cake & Party Stop, 1515 N Meridian $1.50 ech they carry a lot of flavors
and she is ordering diff. flavors for me, so cool that keeps me from paying the shipping.

hobby lobby has loanns too but @ 3.95 for 2 ..only a few flavors....not cool.

& that several of the small gas stations, especially 'round tinker are carrying disposables & sm. kits
mom-n-law got hers 'round SE 15th & sunnylane? she pd like $50 & $25 for hers tho ... defiantly not cool.

and last & probably least sis heard on radio,
that some smoke shop @ 44th & S. Western carries e-cigs, I have not found time to go & search for....& YB doesn't list anyone close to that description...that I can tell ????

I don't think that any of the local shops are carrying any serious hardware. It is probably just novelty stuff like disposables so they can say they carry it. I will just make sure I don't run out of anything. I looked at the web site for the Tinder Box and they look high end. So anything they carry won't be cheap.
I will have to check out the local store for the DIY flavors though, it would be nice to save on shipping.

Wanted to introduce myself to the fellow Okies. I'm a transplant living as far NW in OKC as I think you can get (still consider Seattle home though). I'm not really new to vaping, used my first ecig back in early 2009 and managed to quit analogs for almost 8 months and well unfortunately ended up back on analogs. BUT just ordered a new ecig and am going to give the quitting another go. Things seem to have improved quite a bit since my initial trial. The constant battery changing and refilling sent me running back to the analogs, well that and the fact that most of the state smokes (or it seems that way) Anyway wanted to say 'Hi' and introduce myself.
