Invader Mini Temp Control

Just got one delivered (my first tc mod) and I can't seem to get it into temp control mode. Follow the directions, from standby mode, press fire and minus buttons but temp control never shows up. Display shows normal mode then goes into stealth mode. Repeat and it goes from stealth mode into normal mode. Using a new TFV4 tank (says rated from 40-140W) with triple coils at .22 ohms and 50 Watts. Battery's a Sony vtc-4. Before I send it back, am I doing something wrong?

what are the coils made of?

I assumed Ni200 as the replacement coils are.

1. Remove atty, and remove battery and then put it back. Just to reset.
2. Press fire button 5 times to turn back on
3. press fire button once to get 'check atomizer'
4. Screw on atty tightly.
5. Hit fire and you should get 'new coil up, same down' message - hit Up for new coil.
6. Press fire 5x to get into lock and then hold up/down until tempereature stting message appears
7. set temp and then hit fire button 5x to get back to normal state.
8 adjust power
9 vape away!

The tfv4 doesn't appear to have any triple coil ni200 heads. They have dual coil ni200 (.12) and titanium (.33). I think you have a standard coil, in which case it won't work in temp mode.

Aha! the instructions were wrong. I checked again just to ensure my sanity and the booklet says Fire/Down. Thanks a ton. Next time you're in Xuzhou, dinner's on me.

a lot of these DNA40 cloned mods come with instructions that are wrong in the same way!! Crazy! Anyway, glad its sorted!
