IP3 Li software update does not work

I did everything I am supposed to do to update but when I go to update it gives me this message "this file unsupport UNDEFINED, but support SX330SL" And it won't let me upgrade at all. It shows it's connected but the software will not allow me to upgrade it. I want it for the Titanium coil upgrade don't really care about the 200 watts though. Unzipped the file and took out the batteries and everything and still nothing. changed cables several times as well. If anyone can help me that would be awesome.

Here's a video to walk you through it. One thing I'll add is a lot of people had to try more than one USB cord before the device was recognized, Good luck!

I went through that walk through and did everything as he shows it to be done and still get that message. I just don't understand everything showed up, it was installed and connected via the sxi software and that message still came up. I have watched several videos and read on other forums but still the same message appears. The sxi software says it's an sx330sl chip and I just don't understand it.

This might sound like a dumb question and I mean no disrespect. I heard the newer units already come updated. Any chance it is already updated? Other than that, maybe someone more helpful than me can chime in.

No I thought that as well but it only went up to 165 watts and no Ti on the temp mode just Ni. I had another thought so I tried opening the software first and the upgrade was ready to go before I connected the IPV3 Li to the computer and put the usb on the usb 3 port on my computer and the same message came up again. So I disconnected the IPV3 Li and checked the upgrade section again and it was good to again but this time I connected it to a usb 2 port on my computer and no message and it let me upgrade it. Now I have up to 200 watts and the Ni and Ti in temp mode.

Kind of wierd it wouldn't upgrade on my usb3 ports but would on the one usb2 port that I have on my computer, just makes no sense but it worked so I'm happy to try my Ti coils on it now.
