I haven't been able to find a review anywhere on this new mod and I would really like to hear about it from someone who took the plunge. Its 200 Watts and takes 2 18650s. Its pretty big, I saw one at a shop, but it does have a USB charger for firmware updates I assume as well as charging. I would hate using a giant external charger, being that I live in a small apartment with a big dog so that is attractive to me. I really don't care about TC as I drip most of the time, but it has the YiHi chip and all that. Saw it for $55 online which seems like a good deal for a pretty slick mod. I was interested in the D2-D3's as well, but I am worried that one 18650 is not enough if I want to build lower and use 75-80 watts. Right now I still use a trusty istick 50 watt, never usually going under 0.4 but I would like to try it and jack up my power a bit.

The USB port is for updates only. You have to use an external charger. Honestly, using an external charger on a 2 x 18650 series mod is the smart choice. Here's the main IPV5 thread:

If you want up to 100W the istick is a pretty good bet. 200W from 2x18650s is ridiculous anyway...and it is huge. Why not go for a RX200 or something that will do it properly!
Thanks. Yeah, I just can't do the external charger. I probably don't need 200 watts, I would think 80-100 would be enough. Looking at the IPV D3 and the Tesla Two now. If I did get an external charger fr some reason I would probably buy the RX200 and get 6 batteries. Seems like the most bang for your buck.
