What's the verdict? Anyone wish they got a sigelei 75 instead or thrilled they got the D2? Anything blow up yet? Battery life non-existent for us 75 watt users @ max?

My finger is almost ready to buy another mod today.......
What are the specs for the Sigelei? Does it have step down in wattage mode? Cause the D2 does not. Not a big deal with the workaround, If necessary. I like my D2, one 2500 mah LG HE2 lasted me 8 hours at work today and I work outside. The paint is getting dinged pretty fast from just keeping it in my front pocket. But solidly built.

Life will be what it will be. No magic in chip building and over 90% efficiency is about as good as you can expect to get.
75w is 75w and the power to run that high isn't going to change.

Someone looking to run 75w consistently should be shopping a 150w-200w with dual batteries.
Same would go for a 200w Vapor - look for 400w w 4x batteries.

I've got about 7 hours on a Samsung 25R @ 28w vaping casually all day. Still showing about 30% but planning to change in a few minutes anyway.

Been using mine for a few days now and I have to say I'm really loving it. Really solid little device. Battery life seems to be better than my IPV Mini II with the same batteries, but that is of course dependent on many variables. I've mainly been using it for temp control, so I'll have to try some similar kanthal builds across devices to reach a final verdict on that.

The temp control works fantastically, I like it better than my eVic VT in that regard due to a sort of work around that's possible on this mod that isn't on the eVic. On many nickle builds, I'll find that I need to start bumping the temperature up higher and higher for the same flavor and vapor production, around 100 degrees F higher, based on a baseline of dry hits occuring above around 420 degrees. On my eVic this is the only solution when this problem occurs, but I've found a better way with the D2. If I have a build that isn't being sensed accurately, I'll simply fire it at the higher setting, wait a couple of seconds, and lock in the now slightly higher resistance. This allows me to bring the temperature setting way down and away from the device's max to allow head room. I know this problem probably has more to do with my builds (though I can't see why, my wraps are always spaced evenly and close to or above 0.1) but being able to "glitch" the device back into an accurate AND consistent temperature curve is welcome to me. I wish I could test coil temperature while firing to have some data on this, but I don't have the equipment.

All in all I'm very happy with this mod, it does everything I want it to do and more in a solid small package for an unbeatable price. My main two nickle tanks (black subtank mini and goblin mini) look fantastic on it, and everything just works well. Highly recommended!

I have the Sig 150, but something a tad more stealthy for my laptop bag would be interesting. I don't always need 75 but I probably would run about 60 all the time. I know the Sig 75 battery drops pretty quick. No building for me, just mostly prebuilt coils but coils rated for 100w.

Without even going into the debate on whether you should be running that many watts through a single batt to begin with, you won't see any real world difference between this and the Sig 75.

If you are looking for more stealthy options, i linked a few of the smaller 2 batt box mods i've seen a couple pages back.

But.........If one is compelled to run with the D2, a few spare charged 18650's in a battery case are a reasonable option. Time to change - 10 seconds.:D
Yea, I timed myself:lol:

I love it. If you're looking for a flashy mod, look elsewhere, but in terms of practicality, it's hard to beat. It's small and compact, feels great in the hand, sleeve makes it grippy, economical on battery, and working great with Ti coil so far. It fits perfectly in my jeans coin pocket, which is a huge bonus.

For anyone that had this mod and the sx mini m. How does it compare to the sxm in tc mode. I got an evic VT as a backup to my sxm and I'm not happy with how it performs. Is this a similar vape to the sxm?

It is a great compliment to my sx350j Boxer. Not quite a backup 'cause it's compact beyond expectation, so it is running primary on some missions. I currently have both set to 442F, 28J on twin Ti dual builds. I'm getting the same vape out of each - almost spooky identical. I am getting used to packing extra batteries again. I packed the IPV today ... carried a pair of replacement batteries. I swapped out at lunch and the third is still unused. To bring perspective ... most of my days tally ~40k Joules on the Boxer's counter.

I compared my Lemo Drop on both today, which is running about a .3 Ti coil. Fairly similar in the lower temp range, but like most cheaper TC devices i was left questioning just how high it was actually firing once i ventured into my preferred 480-500 sweet spot. SX was giving me the fuller/stronger hit at that point. Granted i ran this experiment in a rather quick check manner, and usually don't use that topper when i'm pushing that high.

The difference in expected battery life is going to be noteworthy though, if you had previously made good use of the eco feature. Which isn't to say the battery life is bad by any means...but yeah. If you did then you know the deal. Although in the D2's defense it's battery bar seems to mimic the Evic-VT's, in that while the initial readout seems to drop down rather quickly it actually holds up rather well after that.

Yesterday i ran one of my Sonys under a displayed 50%, but a follow up on my Xtar VC4 showed in not even half discharged.

I also have to agree my D2 is pretty close to my SX in matching the vape.

I took my dual 18650 holder to work yesterday just in case. Turns out I didn't need to swap it. Yer right about the quick batt swap tho. Slide down, pull tab, push in, then slide up, done!

Well after a couple days of use, my only gripe is how easily the battery door comes off. I tried using it without the silicone sleeve and found myself holding it by the battery door and almost having the rest of the mod fall. Overall, I've never been happier with a mod.

Edit: Just squeed it a little right there, now It's perfect.
