Didn't come today either. Still sitting in Michigan. I get FT orders faster than this

................:(
Sorry to hear this Roxy

I personally HATE USPS Service the past year!:nah:

Does the chip in the D2 have a cutoff? Mine seems to stop firing after 7-8 seconds in power mode.

10 or 15 second cutoff(forgot to check)
Overheat Protection(mod Side)
Battery Protection(Dipping)

Check function with another fully charged battery. Confirm resistance. Time cut off accurately to determine.

Well after a couple days of use, my only gripe is how easily the battery door comes off. I tried using it without the silicone sleeve and found myself holding it by the battery door and almost having the rest of the mod fall. Overall, I've never been happier with a mod.

Edit: Just squeed it a little right there, now It's perfect.

lol regarding your fix, I was just about to suggest the same thing. I use the sleeve but if you're having problems with the door, taking it off and squeezing it together slightly makes it rock solid.

Well I guess my decision has been made for me. It is now reading the resistance way too high on all my rda's.

Man what a BUMMER, I really really like this mod, now the waiting starts all over... dangit!
Mine's reading about .2 HIGH as compared with my vaporshark. I did mean .2 not .02...
you guys need replacements it seems. mine reads .01 low but im not all too sure about my standalone ohm readers quality TBH

Sorry I have not taken that last step, but I could only afford one Mod this time around and with an uncertain financial future I can't take the risk of messing this one up.

The D2 does however look very simple to open and should be easy to check out if required.

Resistance jump on contact does sound like a loose connection - likely ground attachment.

Jace75,
GearBest Refunded me. Looks like they will not even ship before first of Sept.

Right behind you...
Well, I pulled the trigger on one today from VapeNW for $45. Less than I paid for my 30w Cloupor Mini at the first of the year, to put it in perspective. Lack of step down doesn't worry me, I don't vape anything that needs it (or I can build around it if the need ever does arise).

I like pocket friendly beater mods (my Cloupor still gets a lot of use). And this is a Yihi-powered beater, so bonus. While I really like my SXM and Vaporflasks, they're pampered house pets.

Mine from Fasttech shipped today. Just sayin'

That's good news. FastTech seems to be slow off the gun these days. It will be interesting to read as to whether you get all the accessories. Contrary to what others have said here, due to FastTech selling below the MSRP, packaging is usually not factory sealed. Anyone who has ever bought a Sigelei or IPV device from FastTech know that the mods often come in the original boxes without certificates of authentication (removed) or even serial numbers (blacked out). All this to avoid trace-back to the supplier. Hopefully FT is not robbing parts from the packages and then re-selling them as extras.

Anyone have pics of inside this thing?? I am curious, but I am contemplating sending mine back because of reading the resistance .02 low. I am wondering if it is a grounding issue as someone stated earlier.
Mine say's it will be here Friday. I will pop the inner cover off and take a look at the 510. I posted a few pages back about fixing a few IPV 510's. They are press fit from the top, then held in from a screw that makes contact with the body. Then the ground is soldered to the head of the screw. Im betting these are the same, the problem is the screw is not making good contact. Its a outdated way of doing things they really should just put Varitube or Fatdaddy 510's in.

Ill let you know what I find. If you have the right tool take those two screws out and take a couple pics. It could void your warranty so just be aware of that.
