fasttech has this on pre-order. The dimensions that they have for this (95 x 48 x 27) make it bulkier to hold than the MVP3. I was interested in this until I saw that. Thought it was going to be a mini.
I have 78mm 24mm 40mm. I'm not positive on the 24 though. If you watch the Sun Vapers video and the one I posted earlier it looks more like 22 or 23 tops.

They have the dimensions wrong. You can tell its not that tall when you see the battery in the mod. I believe sunvapers have the correct dimensions.shipping
Good news on the shipping. Hopefully we will start seeing these in our hands by the end of next week or next.
Will have to wait and see. Sunvapers dimensions sound a lot more reasonable.

Another sales/promo video, almost as utterly worthless as before. However, should you wished to be spared the inanity, the main thing is that they confirm that it has a DC 5v input, rather than micro USB (though fyi, USB is a 5v source, so you just need an adapter cable). No demo of TC, because of course that's what everyone wants to see (as opposed to the guy fiddling with the battery cover for 40% of the video), but Ni200 and Ti support is shown in the menu.

By the time we see a proper review we'll all have them in hand. I'm not to worried about not having seen a TC demo, I'm pretty confident the YiHi chip will do its job as advertised.

I just called them as well. A nice sales rep said they did not receive the full shipment but only got 3 units. The people who did order on ebay will sit on a pre-order or get refunded. They are saying next week now

Seriously one of the biggest piles I have heard to CYA. Suppliers do not send out minuscule portions of orders. An order may be short an item or two and they apologize for the (mistake) offering to make it up on the next order(boosting future sales)
Dealer likely received -0- or a Sample batch ordered.

Well, I would rather wait and hope its decent than be an unknowing beta tester as P4U has a tendency to do with their customers. They've already changed the ipv4. They changed the ipv3 at least 3 times. The original ipv1 and ipv2 were changed after a couple of weeks. They don't have a good track record on getting devices right from the start.

IVP Mini unchanged
IPV mini2 Unchanged - Different mods
Updates are not considered corrections but improvements - DNA users know all to well
Many of the changes were just that - updates.
IPV-4 was stopped and updated to include TC per consumer desire. That shows initiative and a bit of respect rather than cramming out hundreds of thousands then re-releasing as a new updated version.
Correction on the part of any manufacturer is a sign they can be trusted to look out for their interest and the consumer. Not a sign they have no clue what they are doing.
Evolve
Sigelei
P4Y
Kanger
etc.

Companies like AmeriVape would be at the bottom of the list - Protesting consumer concern rather than acting on it.

Crxess, I beg to differ, but that's ok.

The ipv minis were fine, that's true.

The original ipv1 and 2 had doors that didn't fit and touch sensors that were autofiring. Surely they should have noticed the doors. Busardo complained so they changed it. I have a revised one so I'm happy with mine, but people who bought the initial one weren't. A simple search here will find you a rather long thread.

The ipv3 was changed 3 times. Mostly due to the malfunctioning in mod charger.

Same with the ipv4. They assured everyone it was safe this time (the charging board), and it most certainly wasn't. I was talking about that, not adding the tc.

So, yes, I feel they have used customers as beta testers.

It says availability 8/1 now. :(

Ouchy. Wasn't ready for that one.. Now wait, is that date a ship from china date? Or that 101 will have them in hand and available to ship to us. By 8/1 that would make the wait 3 weeks and a couple days for me. Oh P4Y! don't make us wait too long.. I'm not getting any younger over here!

I don't disagree with the Beta testers angle, but what Chinese company hasn't, or even American Companies.

No disagreement P4Y suffered growing pains, as did Sigelei/Kanger/Smok and many others.
As to USB issues............... Phones need USB chargers, not Sub-ohm capable devices.
USB charging even then is fine...........for charging, not for attempting passthru on a depleted battery. Power fluctuations glitch systems and failures occur.

Have to agree mostly, except in a few cases where the port is required for firmware updates, the charging and pass through feature they can ditch.

They weren't using a USB, but rather some 9V charger. The USB port is for updates to firmware on the ipv3 and 4.

BTW, I have an old ipv1 and its been a workhorse. I had the first ipv mini as well. I liked it, but sold it to buy something else. DPLongo has it, lol! Well, last I knew.

Somehow my wife ended up with Both my IPV mini's. She isn't getting my Mini2 and I'll run away before giving up my SX mini M.

Only reason I am even picking up the D2 is the price and Yihi chip......... I just knew they would kill any chance of firmware upgrades at the price point. :(
I really just want a TC banger mod I can carry out of the house without concern over loss/damage and the Yihi Chip makes it a good gamble, for me.

Vapeheads have to be some of the most impatient people on the planet, an item gets delayed and we freak out threatening cancellation, bashing the maker and getting all dramatic...I've got 7 other devices I can use while waiting and I'm sure that's the case with everyone else here waiting for a D2, so have a vape, relax and forget about it.

Strongly considering cancelling my order and just getting a sigelei 75. Especially hearing all this bad stuff about p4u

Much of the (Bad) Stuff comes from people that Review Mods for Profit and most are not that good at it. Some pick things apart to let you know every little detail, but give no comparison to the other in class mods and their little quirks or issues.
Hard to get a true evaluation and comprehensive understanding that way.
The best source is the threads Started by Owners and reading the Post By Owners.
This is for any mod.

One must either be patient and wait for true reflections after someone has been using a device for a while or Jump in head first. There really is no safe middle ground.

Look at the iStick Fan Club we have
Many owners love and swear by the mods, but many others have had tons of problems. Some one off production mistakes and others wide spread.

Jumping from one new arrival mod to another new arrival mod on hearsay may not be the logical choice.........just a hopeful assumption.;)

Fasttech dropped the price again today to 43.06!

Late to the Game and likely short on count for pre-order fulfillment. Vendors cannot afford to have to much stock hanging around for long.
