a company that thrives on stealing original designs

Now I understand your miss-given Hostility toward fasttech. You must not be aware they are simply a Supply Company. A large Vendor that was very small only a few years ago.
They do not Steal or Build anything and often search for long periods to find suppliers of goods Requested by Their Customer Base.
That is why they have carried several manufacturers productions of the same devices - Nemesis Clone for one - to meet demand.
They do not produce or contract to produce anything. When Possible they supply originals pf product at the best price they can afford while maintaining a working profit.

Your Friend did not exactly invent anything, but simply brought a modified design to the vaping community.

One of Many:

Sciortino Hand Held Model
PIANO RESTRINGING TOOLS

You have no FN idea what you're talking about re the Kuro Coiler, it didn't exist in vapeworld prior to him designing and introducing it, I personally sold close to 2k units and none of the shops here in LA had ever seen one...the clones exist based on his design, right down to the logo..pretty simple, we're not talking about a block of wood with a post in it and wrapping by hand, and anybody with half a clue knows better when it comes to SlowTech and Chinese business practices.

I'm not going to get into a debate with you about a company that thrives on stealing original designs, the product I ordered was purchased to compare it with the original Kuro Coiler that was designed by a good friend and cloned within 2 weeks of it's release.
FastTech is a distributor, not a manufacturer...and the original Kuro Coiler was a creative but a failed design due to having to buy multiple coilers for each diameter.

...your comment makes it very clear you support this company that does nothing but steal what other have worked very hard to design and bring to the market...you sound like someone that posts photos or sends FT originals to be cloned.
You mad bro? Just because someone tries to explain to you the timeliness of when an order will ship as well as the logistics of it doesn't mean they're somehow affiliated to that particular company.

On a different note, I know we're all eager to receive our D2...but patience is a virtue.

Definitely not mad bro, and honestly don't even know how we got here...trivial BS, I do prefer topics staying where they belong, on topic, so let's call it a day.

Although I already have a pretty darn good mod in hand with the SX mini I'm pretty excited about the D2, I know it's nothing fancy, just like the size, look and def the YiHi stuff...but who am I kidding, I get excited anytime I've got a new mod on the way, shape, size or whatever...doesn't matter.

Indeed...the size, design and YiHi chip is what appeals to me too.

I seriously thought about getting the SX Mini but it was and still is way over my vape budget - although I really don't put a limit on how much a spend in a month on vape gear, it's quite expensive nonetheless. I've had limited experience with it at a local vape shop and I know hands-on it's a top notch mod.

I can see anger management is some persons future and I'll patiently wait for my IPV-D2 from GearBest.

*Note, I neversaid, but actually Acknowledged he brought it to vaping. I Said it is not a New invention but modification of existing Coiling devices of which there are thousands.

Try to relax and enjoy life a little.

How can it be so cheap with a yihi chip in it when SX Mini is expensive? Do they use gold in SX Mini?
The D2 uses a good mainstream designed chip(Quality) but it is nothing like the SX350J Chip in the SX Mini M Class.

You obviously didn't read an earlier post from me when news of the delay had someone here cancelling their order, doesn't matter...If it takes another month I couldn't care less, by the time IPV fills all their orders a new model will hit the market and the D2 will be old news anyway.

Curious question for you, why did you choose to buy from GearBest vs a U.S. based company ? Not trying to pick a fight, just curious considering it's pretty much the same price here.

I just want a new vape man. Quickest time possible. Right now my backups are a vuse and a fixed voltage ego with a haus tank. I want a good mod for running subtanks and rda. Just figured I might be able to order a sig and get it before 101 can get me my d2. But you guys say this device should be good and the price was right.

Honestly at the time of order it was the lowest price around and the discount code brought it even lower than currently common.
Like you, I already have my SX Mini M and several other regulated mods that I'm happy with so there is little concern over delivery time.
I actually went to 101Vape first, but after several attempts to reach checkout I realized their system was once more on the fritz. That is when I found the GB Deal and switched.
I just noticed their site is Down again now for Maintenance. Why so many ISP issues?

Good news. I'm seeing units on ebay that say they can arrive by next weekend. Hopefully 101 can get them to us by then if not sooner. There site is still down which is a little unnerving

Well Next weekend will put us into Aug. so I would expect things should(possibly) start moving.(Hopefully)

The second video shows a slotted top contact, I thought this device had a spring loaded top pin, the slot would indicate otherwise...maybe there's slotted spring loaded connectors that I just haven't seen and this is one of them, I hope not, come on crxess...is it a screw or spring loaded.

No, not necessarily. My old ipv1 has a slot in the pin but its spring loaded. Both my sx mini s classes are early runs that have slots in the pin. Whatever you do, don't try to adjust it as you can break the positive wire solder point.

The 101 site was so bombarded with D2 orders it crashed, OMG...were never gonna get um now. Seriously though, they're a very solid outfit and I'm sure they'll be back up and shipping new toys in no time, otherwise I'll skip my anger management class and be driving down to their warehouse.

Appreciate the info roxy, thank you...I'm not a fan of no spring.
