I received mine yesterday. This is my first TC mod, so I am still learning on that side.

The mod has a nice solid feel, and did come with the silicon sleeve. It is very small and fits nicely in my hand. The 510 thread is silky smooth, and makes a good connection with the spring loaded pin.

Still playing around with the settings to "tune" in the vape. With TC, it seems to me that the available options for tweaking the vape are multiplied greatly.

Currently at 450f and 25j, and bringing out some really interesting notes to the flavor of my vape that I have never noticed using Kanthal and VW. Currently using the Ni200 OCC Kanger but will get some Ni wire to try the rba deck.
Sorry, cannot compare the quality of the TC since it is my first, but really like the mod for my out and about use.

Damn, that subtank looks huge on the d2. I've been waiting for a tc mod the size of the Cloupor mini and this one looks really close.

Could be the top down angle of the pic. Other than my Reos, I have been using an istick and the tank actually feels smaller on this.

Delivered in or at mailbox! :) super tiny. No sleeve tho:(. I ordered mine from 101 vape on Tuesday. View attachment 479241

Definitely seems to be some confusion on the sleeve. Mine came with it installed on the mod in the box. Had to remove to put the batt in. Not sure why, but I was surprised at that.

What's goin on with P4You? Some people get sleeves some don't? They're really living up to their latest reputation for being scumbaggy. I gotta say tho, all my small tanks like the goblin, Kayfun monster, and my Lemo Drop look great and fire awesome with Ti or Ni200 builds. I just put a fresh LG HE2 in and gonna see how Long it lasts with .16 dual Ti build in my goblin at 30 joules 445° F.

Received mine from Vivid Smoke this morning, sleeve was installed on the mod in the box. Might be a silly question, but for those of you without sleeves, did your boxes have shrink wrap on them? I can't see how some come with and some without, it's baffling to me....aside from that I'm loving the mod so far, perfect for what I bought it for, out and about temperature control capable device with a small pocket footprint. This is my first YiHi temp control chip so I'm still getting used to the little differences (*ahem* menus) and dialing in sweet spots, need some more experimentation across different coils to make a final verdict on that, but it seems to be working just fine. Even if I completely ignored the temp control aspect, I'd be happy with my purchase as a regular ol 75w stealth mod, feels very high quality, even more so than the IPV Mini II which at the time, besides the paint job, felt like quality too. The sleeve is nice in the way that it doesn't really affect going in and out of pockets, not so nice in the way that it feels paper thin when off the mod. I do love the form fitting design though, the sleeve won't be coming off by itself very easily. Thumbs up over here!

Edit: Forgot to add, this thing feel great in the hand. I have fairly large hands and it still has very nice ergonomics, I'd imagine this mod would go over great as a purse/handbag mod for the ladies who may not want a larger box mod but still want relatively high wattage and temp control. It's slightly shorter and slightly thinner on the broad side than the eVic VT. Which is surprising, because I think the "diameter" of the area around the 510 is actually 23mm without the sleeve. It really seems like P4Y packed a lotta punch into a small package, and if the internal quality is a high as the external it's a real winner. Patiently waiting on the photo/videos of this thing being taken apart and how it's guts are seated, crossing my fingers there's no IPV 4-esque grounding isssues.

I got mine at about 2 PM yesterday and my R25 kept up all day and could have kept going this morning (but I swapped anyway). I used 0.40 Ti build on a Taifun GT2 @ 20 Joules 335 F (my first Ti build).

If one battery can last me all day, I might start charging with the supplied chord overnight since I really like the sleeve.

My box was shrink wrapped.

Same here and I too got the sleeve....I don't want to start implying that vendors might actually be taking the sleeves off before selling the unit (maybe to sell the sleeves separately at a later time?), but I've never heard of something like this, where some units have an accessory included and some don't. When I was popping my battery in I did notice a number next to the battery bay, maybe a batch number, I'll post that up when I run this Samsung down a bit, maybe that has something to do with it on P4Y's end? Just looked in the manual and oddly the silicone sleeve is NOT listed in the contents of the box, so maybe the sleeve was originally not going to be included and earlier production runs do not have them while later batches do. Or vice versa. Who knows, this silicone sleeve business is fishy!

Yeah when I first saw it, I thought it would be too tiny for my fairly large hands. But after half a day of use, it feels really good. With the sleeve on it's grippy but it still slides into a pocket without issues. Definitely a terrific travel mod.

Are you saying it strains the battery more because it has to upregulate. I plan on running it at maybe .5 ohms and possibly 75 watts and ohms law calculator is saying that is 12 Amps and 6.1v. I'm not seeing an issue here. Plus like you both said. Aren't there built in safety features to prevent battery failure or explosions
It strains the battery more because it is being used at or near full potential. Just because your car's engine can rev to 6000rpm doesn't mean you should constantly do so.
And those numbers are at 4.2V and correct, for a while, then the battery sags and deplete and those numbers will quickly change. Try the calculator with diff starting voltages.

Factory shrink wrap. No sleeve. OT I got a "Check Battery" message to flash one time with a LG HE2 at 3.9 volts. Weird, I can't get it to do it again. I was at 30 joules, 430° F with .16. D2 next to a VS DNA 40. Same size, D2 just has one side rounded.

Just got my D2 today, the experience is quite different to other TC MODs.

1. it's showing real time resistance, this case, how can I tell if a screw supposedly tightening the coil loosened ?
2. I've no way to tell whether the desired temperature is reached ?
3. Other than the diminishing favor and vapor, there's no visual warning on screen showing I'm running out of juice ?
4. It seems to be a lot gentle than eVic VT, and I doesn't seem to be able to get warm vape. Thirty it was something I tried to avoid with eVic VT.

I used to vape at 360F to 420F, but it seems to be cool even when I set it to 460F with TI coil. Tried to use 40J but doesn't do the trick.

Edit: just come to know it'll show juice out. It doesn't occur to me though.

1) System will throttle
2) Vape preference is target/consistency is knowing
3)Screen will display No Liquid warning
4)TI on VT? Assumption of TI spec equalization to NI - independent Algorithms

You should be good to go once you get comfortable with the Mod.

The First thing one needs to do with a New to them device is evaluate it on its own feature set and Not try comparing it to something else.
Make comparisons once familiar.

Agreed.
Once you have your numbers, make your choices wisely.
Why deliberately choose to have the Mod protect you rather than use the closest battery to your needs.

My recommendation of Samsung was/is for the average user, not power users and I would NOT recommend using the Efest 3100 if exceeding a 30w load.
Above will Quickly change Mah and thinking you will get a longer Vape time is incorrect. the cheaper, higher internal resistance battery will drain Faster depleting it as fast or faster.
The higher loads will fatigue and wear the Efest out sooner calling for early replacement.
Why buy twice?

** Apologies for posting twice in a row. Just came out of hibernation.
