Based on the randomness of said sleeve actually being in the package I'd be willing to bet some of the FT units don't have it, we already know 101vape is sending out some with and some without, pretty much a crap shoot and so is FT's shipping time, might show up quick, might not...really good price though.
I've probably ordered several hundred items with fasttech. If their pictures show a sleeve you can bet, dollars to doughnuts, a sleeve will be included. Otherwise they would have a massive riot on their hands with that motley crew. 
Shipping times with FT is a whole other matter. But for the prices they charge I don't mind waiting.

Yes thats true. But what I read, some packages were sealed from the factory and there was no sleeve in there. So maybe it is random / p4y left them out for whatever reason so fasttech does not even know that there might be no sleeve in there.
Same here, 160 orders at FT, always got what was pictured I don't look at the package contents anymore as the pics give a better hint.

I think I mentioned this but someone asked at gearbest whether there was a sleeve included and they said No! This is a bizarre situation really!

I can tell you the mob that hangs out in the FT forums are a rough bunch of undisciplined hooligans (with all due respect). And if there is no sleeve in the box after putting pictures up, FT will be sending the sleeves out free of charge..no doubt about it!
I contacted GB and asked when they will ship preorders for D2. They told me that they expect to receive the devices in 1 week.
This is China we are talking about, and you probably know as much as GB does at this moment. But so you don't cancel the order they will tell you whatever you want to hear. Pre-order---> ship out what they get ---> then goes to restocking
Where are you on the list...first or last? The staff at GB don't have any idea about the products they sell. They are strictly merchandisers. Look at some of the specifications they put up. I particularly like when they answer someone's request about a clone made by say HotCig. They will say "no Sir it's not a clone it's an authentic". An authentic from HotCig

If there is no resistance lock then how does temperature control work ?
Possibly a language misunderstanding between set resistance and resistance lock? Maybe! And we all know there is no USB interface on the mod.

You are right. This is how most of Chinese vendors handle these preorders.
I don't know about GB but Fasttech has this week posted a full array of pictures of the IPV4 2D - could be they are about to ship. I haven't ordered one so I am just relaying the rumours.
As far as I understand those that ordered recently are getting ship dates into September. My ship date is 8/28 so maybe I'll be lucky and they will ship earlier...nah
my shipping date is still 8/20, but I guess/hope they'll ship earlier. Normally when they have real pics online, they start shipping.
I'm all about saving money, but considering the minimal difference in price why you wouldn't buy it domestically and keep a few of dollars in the pocket of a U.S. based company is beyond me, you can buy the package with included battery, CF wrap and a pouch for 55 bucks from WakeAndVape or any number of American sellers for just a few bucks more than FT and they're in stock...I like keeping the $$$ here.

You are wrong and would likely loose that bet.
The Unit packaging is sealed and Fasttech cannot open every order to check. Nor would many shoppers wish to receive open packaging.
All Fasttech can do is Wait and respond as stated by another poster. That is their business practice and they will handle any discrepancy claims. Something the Real forum goers are well aware of is FT's desire to please their customer base.
Meanwhile, me D2 seems to still be reading .002-.003 lower than the SXM. Not really a concern in my case.

You misunderstand what I'm saying. If punters receive their device without the sleeve, then FT will ship them out for free as an after-market item. I've been buying weekly off FT for the last 2 years so I have a pretty good idea how they respond. If it's in the advertised pictures, then people will claim they've been mislead if they are not included. I'm not worried in the least about losing this bet.
