Hey thank you for those. It looks like they use leaded solder which is not a bad thing. They kinda stopped using it here in the states but its good in electronics. The connections at the 510 look good thats what I was worried about. Wow you see the size of the inductor and the caps on this board

Thanks AtmizrOpin for getting her naked for us!! Internals def look solid, that is one stout 510..and I'm guessing going with the pin type charger instead of the standard mico-usb will prevent a lot broken ports, even if it is slightly more inconvenient.

Finally got my ipv d2 and here it is triumphantly standing over my now defunct ipv mini 2. Wish I could of saved it but maybe I can find another chip that I can fit in there, doubt a sx350j will fit but If I was to get a sx350j I think it would have to be a dual 18650 mod. So far loving it in power mode have yet to try it in temp mode but I will definitely get to it. Excuse the mess in the background was just so excited I had to post a pic. I was also happy I received the skin as paint was a issue for me as my ipv mini is completely stripped of all its paint. But I do have a question I only have a goblin rta, magma rda, and dark horse. But I was looking for another tank I could use as a spare or as my temperature tank. Would a zephyrus be a good choice most likely would only rebuild it and was hoping airflow was better than the goblin. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
If a single coil rta will work for you Fasttech just released the Hurricane rta yesterday. It has all gold contacts and it has gotten great reviews on youtube. I suggest you add the stainless tank to the deal. I ordered the black I think it will look good on the D2

Just keep in mind that the FT Hurricane is a clone of the flawed V1, not the updated V2 (poor wicking being the biggest issue). And it's still a tight-as-hell draw, it's HEMO Eurotank design and those guys have weak lungs or something. I kid a bit, but it WILL be tight for somebody who thinks a Goblin doesn't have enough airflow.
Might want to look into the Goliath V2, dual or single coil capability, solid 510 connection, can run Zephyrus style pre-built heads too, lots of airflow, etc, takes what was good about both the Zephyrus and the Goblin and the original Goliath and puts it in one package.

Worth the money I have spoken to the owner of the company many time, he is more than happy to answer any questions and give you any build help you need. This is the only Ti wire made specifically for vaping from the billets to the final cleaning process. No fumes here, designed to fail before any harmful oxidation.

On another note been vaping the IPV D2 for 6 days now strictly TC & its been killer on every vape. Vaped several wicks bright white dry with no burnt/dry hits and at temp settings as high as 430°F. Getting exquisite flavor, warm vapor & perfect clouds. So far is been beyond the best bang for my buck out of any mod ive owned or used period

I am sure I will be fine I go for more flavor than vapor. Sometimes I like the smallest air setting for max taste. Not sure if the nickel vertical coils are all that much better than the regular vertical ones. That will be for another day
Odd, the Kanger TC .12ohm coils I bought for the Subtank Mini are horizontal, not vertical. Not sure Kanger sells vertical TC coils yet?
That's the LED behavior I saw. .9 amp draw on either a 1 amp or 2.1 amp iPhone charger, D2 pulls what it needs.
I believe a metallurgist (Druckle perhaps) in one of the titanium threads said that those claims are pure bs. An overpriced product when regular grade 1 titanium is perfectly good.

its grade 2 Ti...the whole sweetvapes Ti thing is a scam essentially. Notice they dont say grade 1 anywhere...
