1) If it is a 0.18 ohm coil, the d2 shouldn't fire it. It is a kanthal coil(temperature control not supported) and the d2 will only fire down to 0.2 ohms if it isn't in temp control mode. The minimum for the d2 to fire with a kanthal build is 0.2 ohms. Since 0.18 is lower than 0.2, it is reading "Low Res" indicating the coil resistance is too low to fire. For temperature control mode, it supports down to 0.05 ohms, but the coil needs to be made with Ni200 wire.

2) Can't really say. The TF-T3 is made of kanthal and not Ni200, meaning it isn't made to be used in temp control mode.

Power mode is what is to be used with kanthal coils and does not support temp control. Joule mode is for temp control and only works with Ni200 coils.

Based on that, it is doing exactly what it should be doing.
