IPV mini issue and maybe fix

So my device stoppede working when it was in sleep, which means right after firering it shuts off.

I tried 2 different batteries same issue.

This happened after using 29awg 4 wraps 0.8ohm.

I thought maybe there was a short or something and checked the coil.

But then I just changed from dcdc to PWM and back again, I havent had the problem since.

Anybody else that had this issue?

Try wiping the Battery ends. Makes more sense.

I have had mine shut down a couple of times. Wiping the battery off solves it every time. This time of year Moisture build up is easy, e-liquid also builds a film.

Flipping settings likely caused a contact surge.

Ok I will try. The funny things is it just shuts off, can it really be the moisture, I really hope so

I wiped the battery cap, but should I wipe the contact also inside the mod at the plus connection???

This time it was on without the display showing info tottaly black screen. It has been shutting off atleast 6 times since I made the last post.

I wiped the battery ends even the pin inside the mod. I noticed some condense on the bottom inside the wrap of the sony battery, the problem is still there with efest

Ok. But is it happens again Im sure Im .....ed....The vendor already shipped me a new one and I just have to returned it when I got the new one.

Lasting? It depends on the battery, resistance of the atomizer, and usage.

Does shut off happen with the same battery? Have you tried other batteries?

Yes and somethimes it keeps working with the display off, so if I shut off the mod it cannot turn on again I have to pull battery out

I meant how many months is the mod lasting....

Correction the ipv mini does turn off and on even the displey doesnt show anything

If the Vendor has shipped you a replacement you are good to go.
This is not a common issue.
Trying to figure out Broken is a wast of time.
Just return so they Manufacturer can troubleshoot properly and see what, if anything should be done to avoid future incidents.

Question cannot be answered yet - this is a new mod and only about a month released.
BOTH on mine work fine.

just want to say I have similar probs with the IPV Mini ...

Been using it barely a month, suddenly now the display OLED screen doesnt light up or only if I press (and maintain) bottom part of fire button.The two buttons for UP/down dont ever SHOW on display screen ...they ARE all functioning though ... stillmakes it almost impossible to correctly use the thing since I cant change wattage/voltage/settings very easily(cant see whats going on without pressing Fire button and maintaining pressure...but then it FIRES!)


Im kinda expecting the whole thing to die soon ;(......and to end up with NO display at all .

This happened from one moment to the next,changed battery &refilled tank and when i turned it back on =this!
Have since tried everything, changing batts,cleaning ...no change.

Im very disappointed with this....
