istick may read ohms same as eVic - As soon as an atomizer is attached. This is NOT real time. It is a contact query. Real Time is reading to verify again and again while in use. Initial Query can lead to incorrect output on new coil heads or even on atomizers threaded on slowly, due to resistance differences.
I know as I have visited this issue many times with (2) eVics and helped/confirmed on several others.
Better Mods Read ohms every time power is applied - Provari does this(sampling/adjusting). Seems IPV Mini does this.
I prefer this.

Pclarity- Got my RMA from Vaporrange. They will be shipping a new unit to me as soon as the original package and new tracking number are in the USPS system as being on its way back. W00t!

GREAT NEWS!!

Mine is finally on the way. Had thought my elev8vape order had gone through but apparently they are having issues with AMEX. So, I gave eciggity some more business. About the same price with code 10percentoff and free shipping. I think this makes like the tenth mod I've purchased in the last few weeks, lol.

This simply isn't true for my unit. Any type of adjustment made once the fire button is pressed it is locked in.

Now is anyone's ohm reading off?? My 1.1 reads .9 and my other atty which is 1.4 reads 1.3

You are Correct on the adjustments, Sorry. I set mine for my tanks and left them.
Reading the manual. each of the 5 memory slots can be adjusted for your devices. The adjustments are saved as favorites by replacing the defaults. Those were just factory choices to start with.
You could save any of the Memory slots to anything and use any ones you wish for random setting.
i.e. I still have 7w, 15w,20w, but changed 10w to 12w and 30w to 25w on one unit.
Second Unit is all default except M5, now 25w.

GREAT NEWS!!

I believe the ZNA's I have use the latter method as well if I'm not mistaken.

This was not a guess as to what the Istick does.

Nice to see you sticking up for you. Maybe you are correct. Still, I cannot find any written documentation of such, even on Eleaf's site.

Relax :)

Testing update:
.4ohm - 2.1ohm All I have loaded currently.
All resistance can be fired up to 30 watts. No fall off. :D
*Note - Don't try this at home............. At least NOT with a Kanger ProtankII 2.1ohm coil
No, it didn't pop, but a 1/2 second burst was pure HOT/Burnt! Dialed back to 7w and after a few primer puffs all was okay.:)

Since I own one (2 actually) and have taken a few of them apart and added a VT 510 to one of them, I speak from experience and not tangentially from another product they make.

If you still don't believe me, that's your prerogative but it doesn't change the fact that it shows the ohm reading in real time while the screen is active.

I really do not think you understand what I am saying.
eVic does the same as the Istick
Remove an atomizer and attach another and it instantly updates the screen. Rinse/Repeat same thing. This is a Query and in no way a true indicator of Sampling.
eVic even goes one step further. The screen can be off, at rest. change the atomizer and it will power up and display the changed/re-detected resistance. Again, a Query feature, not sampling while functioning.
Real time is constant or sampling whenever switched on (fired)

Maybe this would be better discussed in the Istick thread.:)

I've read most of this thread, but of course, don't recall everything I've read. lol I've got a few flat top panny CGR18650CH. Don't recall the mah, but I think 2200 and one purple Efest 3100 mah that I use in my hana clone. Are these ok to use in the IPV mini? Are there any drawbacks that would make another type of battery much better?
