For you folks that have received your iPV Mini ... I already have a few brand new Efest IMR-18650 flat-top batteries (these are the red colored / 2000 mAh batteries)

I suppose this battery will work well in the iPV Mini? .... I don't plan on vaping above a max of about 15 watts

Will work just fine.:) Already tested Panasonic CGR18650CH with very decent results. They are 2250mah

Panasonic CGR's work fine. Already alternating between my Samsung R25's and Panasonic.

Already established(by manufacturer) SX130 chip in IVP mini is not upgradeable. Always check for your preferences before purchasing.

Good Video, Fun Ending - We all go off at some point. :)
Error at 18:36 You are talking about Voltage output but state it as 3 to 8 watts.(mean Volts I assume) Don't want to confuse the viewers. Do a PBusardo - Text Tag over to correct.
One thing not mentioned, maybe unimportant, but a comparison for shoppers - IVP mini seems to handle 30w adjustment across the ohms range. Istick will only hit 20 watts at 1.1ohm.
Definately agree it is not really mini, but it does fit the hand nicely.

Thanks for the error catch and for your input. Annotation added. Much appreciated.

Picked up a IPV mini today for $60. Bought it for the wife as a christmas present. Tried it out before boxing it and i was actually surprised at how well it performed. I did notice once you hovered around the .5 ohm range i either liked it or it didnt. and when testing actual ohms I had one at .65 and was reading .5 on the mini. the Atlantis tank read .56 on my Fluke RMS but said .4 on the mini and still vaped. All in all i would say its a fairly decent unit.

That sounds exactly like my unit, it reads ohms lower than actual.. seems to be .1 to .2 lower than actual ohms, checked against my multi meter. I am thinking the spring loaded 510, whatever type of spring they are using in there is not making proper connection. If I slightly unscrew my atty this thing jumps all over the place. Very hot vape cuz the ohms jump too high then back down back and forth every time I press fire button.

Kinda Sucks. I was hoping it would work itself out but still having issues.

Could this explain what someone else said here that it fires "hot" then settles down as per Vaping Cheap.

That's the bad news about a spring-loaded pin -- if not installed properly, or just a bad spring, it'll cause issues.

You know, I have some attys that just don't really like a spring loaded 510. My Squape Reloadeds don't (neither the authentic nor the clones). It certainly does help to have different mods for stuff like this.

Well that's not a good thing if I have to hunt down specific mods for specific attys.:(
This thing should, especially since it's spring loaded adjustable, fit more attys than not. I've heard of other mods having issues with spring loaded 510s but I wonder how VaporShark does theirs as I have never really heard of people having issues with those.
The IPV Mini 510 adjustment needs to be a little deeper also, because a few of my attys don't sit flush because the center pin sticks out, not by a whole lot neither. Seems shallow and the throw on the spring isn't enough to fit all my attys.

I believe I have an answer for slight < LOWER> Resistance readings.
It is well known among low cost Regulated Mod users that there is an additional resistance caused by components on the output side beyond the chip. Some attempt to adjust for the variance but most are not perfect.
The IPV Mini has the Spring Loaded Pin as well as power connection components to the board. The Spring/Pin combo may not be fully compensated for.
However this should be a Constant. If one coil is .1ohm low, ALL coil readings should be .1ohm LOW - get it?
Simple to adjust any Wattage preference for any constant variance.

Any time one feels their mod is reading perfectly(or not), Comparison/verification should only be made by use of a quality Multimeter.:)

And without explanation as to the issue - This makes no logical sense. 510/center pin = 510/center pin
Should have nothing to do with spring loaded, Floating or Fixed.
